JoJo Siwa is in love again — and she’s not exactly denying that the object of her emotions is ex-girlfriend Kylie Prew.
Siwa, 18, hinted at a possible reconciliation with Prew in a recent interview with Extra, declaring herself “very much in love” months after the couple split up in October following nine months of dating.
“I’m ecstatic. I’m head over heels in love. I… consider myself quite fortunate to be loved unconditionally by this human, and she is fantastic “Siwa said. “I’d like it if she could come to my place. We’re long-distance, which is always difficult. She is the best, and FaceTimes and when we do get to see one other, my heart is simply like…”
When asked explicitly if she and Prew had reconciled, the Dance Moms alum replied: “I mean, listen, I will [address this] one day. I’m not saying yes or no… I should have told her I was conducting press today and asked her what she wanted me to say.”
Siwa likened her love life to a jigsaw with a missing piece, which she seemed to have discovered elsewhere in the talk.
“For a long, I felt like my puzzle piece was scrambled eggs,” she recalled. Siwa, who came out as gay last year, told PEOPLE in April 2021 that her and Prew’s relationship began as a friendship but evolved into a sexual connection in late 2020.
In November, she told PEOPLE, “I fell in love with somebody I never imagined to fall in love with.” “We met on a cruise ship, and she quickly became my best friend. And then we traveled to Disney World together, and all of a sudden… it all happened. So I guess I learnt to simply trust life and that whatever is destined to happen will happen.”
Siwa stated in November that she had not yet resumed dating and that she still spoke to Prew on occasion.
“There are days when I genuinely cry, and the only thing I want to do is talk to Ky,” she stated. I’ll make a call, Ky will answer, and then everything will. Then there are days when we don’t say anything… For the first time, I was in love. It is an incredible gift that I will treasure for the rest of my life.”
