The newest board member and largest shareholder of Twitter have already started floating some suggestions for changes he’d like to see on the social media platform, including increasing character limits or creating an “unfollow” feature so people can easier manage their follower’s online reputation without having it publically accessible in real-time through various channels such as Facebook where users are tracked by what they post rather than who follows them back.”
Elon Musk’s idea to add an authentication checkmark as a feature of Tesla’s Twitter Blue premium subscription service has been met with mixed reviews. The CEO suggested that this will help users keep their accounts safe and secure by making sure they’re not trying to access them from unwanted locations or devices, but some people feel it could be considered invasive since you have no choice in whether or when these tags show up on your profile picture

The site has been adding some new features that will help people determine if an account is legitimate or created by a computer- programs like algorithms can be tricky! For example when they verify “authentic,” it means there’s no evidence against them so far; notable means this person does seem real but might also mean something else altogether (e.g., probably fake), while active suggests someone uses their device often enough for usernames/email addresses, etc.). These labels decide what kind -or lack thereof-)

For example, if a singer has millions of followers on Twitter but is not an employee or contractor at Twitter then their account may seem less valuable and important compared with someone who works there full-time,”

Twitter could expand its user base by x4 if it made some bold moves. One idea is to create an account verification process that would massively increase the number of people with verified accounts, making spam harder and dauntingly expensive for bots who can’t afford such expenses anymore! Another option? Charge fees proportional to both affordability & in local currency; maybe even introduce Dogecoin as a payment method too 😉
“It’s a fascinating argument,” says Musk. “Essentially, if Twitter does not reverse this decision and start advertising again soon enough it could end up extinct.”
“It’s really hard to ignore,” said Mr. Musk, CEO of both Tesla and Twitter. He added that having a poll on his account may help people make up their minds about whether or not they are happy with how things currently operate at the company before he makes any changes that could potentially cost them jobs (or even sell more stocks!).”
