The Difference Between Anakin And Vader Is One Of Emotional Control said Star wars
Darth Vader learned how to control himself in a way Anakin nothing could.
The Star Wars delirium is still going strong in 2022, now that big- blockbusters like The Mandalorian, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and The Book of Boba Fett have seen similar success on Disney Plus. These shows have been reigniting interest in the ballot for long-time suckers while drawing in a boatload of new suckers.
As the times go by, Star Wars characters are starting to come more complex, but one of the most complicated characters to have appeared on the big screen is still Anakin Skywalker. Having started as an enslaved child, his trip to getting one of the most feared people in the entire world is nothing short of chaotic. The biggest difference between Anakin and Vader, still, is the stark difference in emotional control.
Anakin Skywalker
Anakin is the inexperienced and more vulnerable half of the Vader/ Skywalker brace, who faced multitudinous trials and agonies throughout his trip to the majority. His first major test came at only 9 times old when he was forced to leave his mama behind to train as a Jedi. He latterly had to witness her death without being suitable to stop it.
Having the courage to leave his life behind was no small feat for a child Anakin’s age, but it earned him no respect in the eyes of his elders. It’s no secret that the Jedi Council did not believe in Anakin’s capabilities when he first came to them, and their mistrustfulness noway lessened.
Without ever earning their respect, Anakin continuously went out of his way to prove himself to the Jedi Council, The Jedi Council arguably turned Anakin into a tone- fulfilling vaticination by constantly expressing their lack of belief in his capacities and pushing him indeed deeper into Palpatine’s clutches.
Anakin’s poor relationship with the other Jedi Masters is one of the numerous reasons he’d lie about his marriage and the generality of his children, to indeed his closest of abettors. Married at only 19 times old, Anakin was a youthful man floundering to find safety and stability, and his biggest want in life was to keep his new family safe.
What eventually pushed him over the edge after a continuance of battling light and dark was his desire to cover his favored bones. Had he noway been put through so numerous challenging life events as a sprat, he probably wouldn’t be suffering through passions of weakness strong enough to turn him to the dark side? Anakin also wouldn’t have been so susceptible to Palpatine’s manipulations, which began when he was still a child.
Anakin’s downfall happed snappily and drastically in vengeance of the Sith, the boiling point for his feelings after times of floundering to control them. Given the inflexibility of his conduct, it’s easy to forget just how youthful Anakin is throughout the prequel trio, and he was only 22 when he went full-on Vader. The first two prequel pictures were rather uneventful in comparison to occasion 3, where the action and chaos suddenly unfolded, mirroring the explosive nature of Anakin’s feelings.
