Everything you need to know about Meena Dhawan, a.k.a. Fast Track in the latest Eighth Season of “The Flash”.

Kausar Mohammed, who played Soraya in the science fiction thriller 4400, has landed a recurring role on The CW’s superhero series The Flash.

In the Wednesday, June 8 program, Mohammed made her first appearance as Dr. Meena Dhawan (aka Fast Track). Dhawan, who has been dubbed a “titan” in the scientific community, expertly mixes a desire for new scientific research with a strong moral compass. As a result, she discovers a means to give everyone the power of super-speed.

Dhawan is transformed into Central City’s newest exciting speedster, Fast Track, and forms a heroic collaboration with The Flash as a result of this discovery (Grant Gustin).

Mohammed is an actor, comedian, and writer who has appeared in films such as East of La Brea, What Men Want, Little, and The CW’s short-lived drama 4400. She also plays Yasmina ‘Yaz’ Fadoula in the Jurassic World Camp Cretaceous cartoon series on Netflix.

Dhawan isn’t the only new speedster in town; a preview for next week’s episode reveals that Arrowverse veteran Matt Letscher will reprise his role as Eobard Thawne in some form. Letscher was last seen in the final season of Legends of Tomorrow, where he looked to be stuck in 1914 after being stripped of his powers by the Time Wraiths.

Another speedster has joined The Flash: Kausar Mohammed (4400), who made her debut as Dr. Meena Dhawan on Tuesday night, and is scheduled to recur on the CW series, according to our sister site Deadline.

Mohammed made her first appearance at the end of this week’s episode when the mysterious new Central City speedster Barry was researching turned out to be Dr. Dhawan, a “genius” scientist whom he recognized right away after The Flash caught her and forced her to reveal herself. Meena claimed that her newfound superspeed was not “natural” like The Flash’s, but rather was achieved through the use of sodium nitrate cells (or something). The Flash gladly accepted.

Matt Letscher will return as some version of the original Eobard Thawne, who is supposedly Dr. Shaman’s renowned collaborator, according to a preview for next Wednesday’s antepenultimate episode.

Letscher last appeared in the Arrowverse during the final season of Legends of Tomorrow, when Sara Lance bumped into Eobard during the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand in 1914. (Eobard explained to her that the Time Wraiths had taken away his abilities and assigned him to guard a certain spot in time.)

In the recurring role of Fast Track aka Dr. Meena Dhawan, Kausar Mohammed (4400) has joined the cast of the Grant Gustin and Candice Patton-starring series. As a result, Mohammed’s Dr. Dhawan is a scientific titan who successfully combines her desire for cutting-edge scientific experiments with a strong moral compass. These characteristics inspire Dhawan to find a new way to democratize the gift of super-speed, allowing all humans to benefit from the advantages formerly reserved for meta-human speedsters.
