Tensei Shitara Slime Datta Ken
This is a Japanese fantasy light novel series that is written by Fuse and portrays a story of a salaryman who is murdered and reincarnates in a sword and sorcery world as a slime with unique powers and ultimately gathers allies to build his nation of monsters.
Satoru Mikami is represented as an ordinary corporate worker living in Tokyo who is content with his monotonous life, even though he doesn’t have a girlfriend. The series took a turn during a casual encounter with his colleague, an abrupt pop out of nowhere stabs him. Transition in the injuries contrasted with a mysterious voice echo in his mind and reciting a series of commands which he could not make sense of.

The Great Sage is showcased as one of Rimuru’s two original unique skills with the capability of variant abilities of other beings to also deconstruct and reconstruct abilities to higher forms. She also acts as an adviser for Rimuru and to whom Satoru made the requests. Ultimately in the series, Great Sage takes the form of a young lady’s appearance in Rimuru’s human form.
Size is a Japanese girl in the series who was summoned into this world during the Bombing of Tokyo though was considered a failure when she was abandoned after having a fire spirit, Ifrit was simultaneously bound to her body. Ultimately she gained the title Conquerer of Flames.
Shizu as she is actually of elderly age, but has not outwardly aged past her prime thanks to Ifrit’s possession. As the series proceeds, there were reveals that Rimuru was also once from Japan, and in their short time together, they become good friends. Before passing away as a truth, she requested her body be devoured by Rimuru, giving him a human form as fictional conduct.
Taiki Kawakami launched a manga adaptation in Kodansha’s shonen manga magazine Monthly Shonen Sirius on March 26, 2015, licensed during their panel at New York Comic Con on October 6, 2016. The novel series has over 4.5 million volumes in print with being the fifth best-selling title of 2018 with 539,277 and the manga adaptation was the ninth best-selling title of 2018 with 3,460,066 copies. The novel has ranked eighth in 2017 in Takarajimasha’s annual light novel guide book Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi! and sixth in 2018 while fifth in 2019.
