Members of House Corrino and the Sisterhood School have joined the cast of the “Dune” prequel TV drama produced by HBO Max and Legendary Television.
Each week, a new casting call for the Dune prequel TV series is made. this time, let’s actually make it five! All of these actors will be joining HBO Max’s Dune: The Sisterhood, along with Sarah-Sofie Boussnina, Shalom Brune Franklin, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds, and Chloe Lea. They will perform as a Fremen servant of House Corrino, a royal princess, three acolytes undergoing instruction at the Sisterhood School, and a royal princess in the sequence specified.

Chloe Lea, Faoileann Cunningham, Aoife Hinds, Shalom Brune-Franklin, and Sarah-Sofie Boussnina have all joined the cast. The five performers will work on the show with the previously revealed Indira Varma, Shirley Henderson, and Emily Watson.
Dune: The Sisterhood, which takes place 10,000 years before Paul Atreides’ ascension, will follow the Harkonnen Sisters as they battle evil forces that threaten humanity’s future and form the legendary Bene Gesserit cult. Henderson is playing the role of Tula Harkonnen, and Watson will play Valya Harkonnen.
The five new cast members will work alongside the show’s leading ladies Emily Watson and Shirley Henderson, who play Valya and Tula Harkonnen, respectively. The Harkonnen sisters are slated to play a crucial part in the establishment of the Bene Gesserit order in what would be one of Dune: The Sisterhood’s main narratives. Indira Varma, who was cast in a significant part last week, will be portraying Empress Natalya, who at the time of the drama was perhaps the most powerful person in the entire known cosmos.
- In her role as Princess Ynez, played by Boussnina, the young princess struggles with the demands of her position as the successor to the Golden Lion Throne.
- Mikaela, a strong-willed Fremen lady who works for the royal family while yearning for a home planet she’s never known, is portrayed by Brune-Franklin.
- Cunningham plays Sister Jen, an acolyte in the study at the Sisterhood School who is feisty, and unpredictable, and rarely shows her true emotions.
- Hinds portrays Sister Emeline, a devoted acolyte who takes intense religion to her training at the Sisterhood. Sister Emeline is descended from a long line of martyrs.
- Lea portrays Lila, the Sisterhood School’s youngest acolyte, with a depth of empathy that belies her youth.
Author, creator, co-showrunner, and executive producer Diane Ademu-John is responsible for the project. Co-showrunner and executive producer Alison Schapker works on the project. The first episode’s director and executive producer will be Johan Renck. Along with author Brian Herbert, Jon Spaihts, Scott Z. Burns, Matthew King, John Cameron, and Cait Collins are executive producing the 2021 Dune movie, which Denis Villeneuve directed, co-wrote, and produced. The executive producers for the Frank Herbert estate are Byron Merritt and Kim Herbert. Co-producing with the author is Kevin J. Anderson.
The TV division of Legendary, which is responsible for the current film franchise, and HBO Max collaborated on the production of the series. The series’ debut episode, which was published in October 2021, received nominations for Best Picture and Best Adapted Screenplay at the Oscars.
