Early Life
Kandi Lenice Burruss was brought into the world in College Park, Georgia, on May 17, 1976. Patrick, her older brother, died in a car accident when he was 22 years old in 1991. She went to Tri-Cities Performing Arts Junior High in East Point, Georgia, an Atlanta suburb. She made her television debut at the age of 15 when she showed up on BET’s “Teen Summit.”
