Aaron Gordon: High School Basketball Player of 10 Years

Aaron Addison Gordon is currently an American pro basketball athlete playing alongside the Denver Nuggets of the National Basketball Association. After playing college basketball for a year at the University of Arizona, he was selected 4th overall by the Magic in the 2014 NBA Draft.

“I think he’s the best player in his CCS history,” said Mark His Tennis, longtime editor of Cal-Hi Sports, shortly after his Gordon era at the Mitty ended.

At Mitty High School, Gordon was a four-year starter, two-time state champion, and two-time California Player of the Year Award. His high school career has been so impressive that the San Jose Mercury News recently named him HQ Player of the Decade for the Gordon Bay Area Preps.
