Early Life
Emily Lynne Berthold was born on October 8, 1990, in Los Angeles, California. Three siblings and she is the eldest one. Her younger sister, Sarah, is a model and actress, while her brother, David, is a musician.
Emily’s father is a stay-at-home dad and her mother is a nurse. As a child, Emily enjoyed playing sports and was a tomboy. She is the eldest of three siblings;
Her younger brother is actor Colin Egglesfield and her sister is actress Brittany Berthold. Emily’s father is of German descent and her mother is of Irish descent.
Career Life
Emily began her career as a child model at the age of six. In high school, she excelled in academics and was a member of the varsity soccer team.
Here she completed her school studies so she opt for University of California, Berkeley for further studies and she is interested in psychology and done her further study from there.
As she didn’t focused on her subjects and rather enjoy her time. Later he decided to choose a career in medicine. She transferred to the University of Southern California where she completed her undergraduate studies and then went on to earn her medical degree.
Emily is currently completing her residency in emergency medicine and plans to specialise in paediatrics.She loves to spent time with family and close friends, relatives. Also she played football.Emily has dual citizenship in the United States and Germany.
Emily began her acting career at the age of eight when she appeared in a commercial for Mattel’s Barbie dolls. She made her television debut in 1996, guest-starring on an episode of the sitcom Roseanne. In 2000, she had a small role in the film Pollock, starring Ed Harris and Marcia Gay Harden.

Emily’s first major film role came in 2002 when she played the daughter of Jack Nicholson and Diane Keaton’s characters in Something’s Gotta Give.She also appeared in my films and tv shows.
In all of them she is cast as side role or just a supporting role. But in 2006, She got her first lead role in the film Havoc, opposite Anne Hathaway. In 2008, Emily starred in The Wackness, opposite Josh Peck and Ben Kingsley.
Most recently, she appeared in the 2016 film First Girl I Loved.Emily has been nominated for several awards throughout her career, including a Young Artist Award and an Independent Spirit Award.
She released her debut album, My First Kiss, in 2010. Emily currently resides in Los Angeles with her fiancé and their two dogs.
