After thinking for around 48 hours, the jury in Tory Lanez’s felony assault trial has delivered its choice. Lanez was convicted guilty of all three offense charges against him on Friday, December 23.
The ‘Alone At Prom’ songster was found guilty of careless use of a handgun, carrying a hidden weapon in his vehicle, and felony beating with a semiautomatic firearm overfire Megan Thee Stallion in 2020. After the judgment was read, a disturbing scene linking Lanez’s father and stepmother befell in the courtroom, according to Law & Crime writer Meghann Cuniff.
Lanez, whose real term is Daystar Peterson, has five siblings from identical mothers and fathers. The singer’s father Sunstar Peterson was wedded to Lanez’s real mother Luella Peterson. Lanez’s father shrieked, “This is a wicked system!” Furthermore, he shouted remarks about Roc Nation and labeled the arraigning attorney “evil,” Cuniff posted.
