Britney Spears has come forward with some disturbing details about the treatment she received at the hands of her sister, Jamie Lynn, while she was a child.
In an interview with Oprah Winfrey, Spears spoke about how her sister would often force her to stand in dirty water for hours at a time as punishment. This resulted in Britney developing a foot infection that eventually spread to her other parts of her body.
Jamie Lynn would also reportedly withhold food from Britney and force her to eat disgusting things like bugs and worms. On one occasion, Britney was so starved that she ate one of Jamie Lynn’s used tampons.
The abuse wasn’t just physical either. Jamie Lynn would also verbally berate Britney regularly, calling her names and telling her that she was worthless. Thankfully, Britney was able to get out of the situation and is now living a happy and healthy life.
