Marvel Studios has released four new images from the upcoming Doctor Strange in what may be one of their most diverse films to date. The stills provide a good look at star Benedict Cumberbatch’s character, along with his adopted home and fellow protectors: Wong ( Winston Geaux ) & Beverly Lakeinem (“Ms.”).
While three of the four images are essentially intense mid-shots, showcasing Doctor Strange and Wong with their wands raised in combat or Wanda Maximoff using her powers to attack America’s enemies. However, one still featuring Marvel’s newest superheroine shows some action on the screen! It seems that this movie will not disappoint fans who have been waiting for more than just talking super-powered beings taking place behind scenes shots from films so far…
The events of Spider-Man: No Way Home have caused a massive breach in the dimensions, and now it’s up to Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) to find some way back home. The movie picks up where its predecessor left off; with him stranded on an unknown planetoid without any form or communication possible between them due their proximity within this universe–and no one knows how long they’ve been there for!
The possibilities are endless! Doctor Strange introduced an alternate universe version of Peter Parker to help train Tom Holland’s webhead. It is believed that this will be explored further in the upcoming sequel, which stars (%20) as Dr. StephenStrange himself.”
The MCU has always been a place for oddities, and that is precisely why Doctor Strange was able to show up in their world. And it looks like he might be making an appearance again soon too!
Cumberbatch said, quite boldly, in a recent interview with Empire that the film will be just as successful as No Way Home. “There you go, I’ll put my flag in the sand,” he said.
Whether or not you know it by name, Professor X is a pretty big player in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on May 6th, 2017. It stars Chiwetel Ejiofor as well as Michael Stuhlbarg and Rachel McAdams among others!
