Mayans MC Season 4
Mayans is an American crime drama television series created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James, that premiered on September 4, 2018, on FX. The show takes place in the fictional universe of Sons of Anarchy and deals with the Sons’ rivals turned allies, the Mayans Motorcycle Club.
In October 2018, FX renewed the series for a second season, which premiered on September 3, 2019. After that, the third season premiered on March 16, 2021.
The fourth season was renewed in May 2021 and premiered on April 19, 2022.
Mayans MC takes place two-and-a-half years after the events of Sons of Anarchy and is set hundreds of miles away in the fictional California border town of Santo Padre.
The series focused on the struggles of Ezekiel “EZ” Reyes, a contender on the U.S. Mexico border. EZ is the gifted child of a proud Mexican family, whose American dream was snuffed out by cartel violence. Now, his need for vengeance drives him toward a life he never intended and can never escape.
Season 4 Episode 10 (Finale): Spoilers!!!
Episode 10 of season 4 titled “Tone of Dirt and Bones” is that there could be an undercurrent of chaos from start to finish. The Mayans of Santo Padre are not prolonged the same; Coco is deadly and tonight, we saw Taza decide to ride his bike into the distance. There’s been a proceeding war with the son, and EZ Reyes has converted into a guy who will do whatever it takes to order.
At the moment, it doesn’t feel like there’s enough time for this episode to tie together all of the loose ends out there, but we would prefer if the storyline with the Sons is largely put to bed.
We’d like to the Mayans MC become more focused on their own club and issues happening in the community around them; also, for some long-simmering issues involving EZ and his family to come to a full boil. It definitely feels like we’re there already with father and son, based on that scene we saw with Felipe and EZ near the end of the story tonight. His dad is not willing to give in to his most violent of impulses.
So far, the official summary of the episode admits that the club’s survival hangs in the balance, while Alvarez seeks peace with a Redwood Original. EZ finishes up loose ends. EZ’s attitude could cause further deaths.
For the gang’s sake, he surrendered Canche. Soledad’s deal might make or break the gang. Alvarez doesn’t want to run the gang on greed, but EZ does, and we wonder what he’ll do. Elgin James directed that episode, which he co-writer with Sean Varela.
