Star Air to Return to Kolhapur With a Homecoming Flight: ‘kolhapur Returns’

Star Air starts direct flight between Mumbai and Kolhapur under the Regional Connectivity Scheme. A series of joy and excitement burst outs in the public as direct flight to Kolhapur finally begins. The flights will now run thrice a week between Mumbai and Kolhapur as they have taken the passengers comfort as their main goal.

Efficiency and better service

The Airline has scheduled their flights thrice a week between Mumbai and Kolhapur, keeping in mind the comfort of its passengers. The scheduled days are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday with a possibility of expansion and frequency to a daily service, depending on the passenger’s response.

The Airline company presently offers flight services to 19 Indian cities, that includes Ahmedabad, Ajmer, Bengaluru, Belagavi, Delhi(Hindon), Hubballi, Indore, Jodhpur, Kalaburagi, Mumbai, Nashik, Surat, Tirupati, Jamnagar, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Bhuj, Bidar and Kolhapur. It has also decided to improvise and offer affordable price to the public under the ‘UDAN’ scheme.

Kolhapur is famously known as the ‘Dakshin Kashi’ and is one of the oldest civilization in the country, thus it is an imperative tourism hub. So considering its geographical importance, the new direct flight between Mumbai and Kolhapur will provide speedy and better connectivity, fostering growth and trade and business as well.

The passengers will now receive more effecient service and previously the journey took them a lot of their time due to improper connectivity and no flights. Thus Star Air’s direct flight service is a smart move for the growth of both the passengers and the Airline company.
