Sweet Magnolias is a small town romantic american drama which is adapted from a novel of Sherryl Woods named A Sweet Magnolias novel. It consists of 11 books and yet two parts have been released named as “Stealing Home” and “A Slice of Heaven”. Now the third season is also coming soon. The drama was produced by Sheryl J. Anderson.
Generally, most of the small town drama focuses on a particular thinking or say a friend’s group, usually women. For ex :- Big Little Lies and Virgin River.This show is mostly popular in America and Canada.
Two seasons have been released and both the seasons are streamed on Netflix. After the first season which was released on may 2020, it took almost two years for the release of Season 2 but season 3 is coming too soon. Probably we will see its trailer in january 2023 and the show may be in mid february. Season one of Sweet Magnolias received a 7.4 IMDb rating.
Story line of Sweet Magnolias
It’s a story of three childhood friends who lived together in Serenity and that’s the irony of the three that Serenity never was a place for Maddie, Helen and Dana Sue. Also, it shows their deep friendship from childhood. This is the best series to show the women’s friendship in a close and with a selected people or say small circle and show us a great amount of entertainment.
As we all know season 2 of this series didn’t follow as much of the original book as we see in season 1 but it leaves a lot of cliffhangers in the second season and all those cliffhangers set a stage for the third season and a gossip talk for it’s lovely audience.So, for the sake of it season 3 must be released. Later Netflix officially announced the contract for the third season of Sweet Magnolias.
Cliffhangers of season 2
Starting with the Relationship started between Dana Sue and Ronnie. As earlier they broke up due to Ronnie’s alcohol problem but Dana Sue too realised that with Jeremy she can’t sail the boat of life and at last made the decision to go back with Ronnie.
Another one was that Bill Townsend got to know Issac was a family member as Peggy Martin hid this truth and everyone gets shocked after this secret reveal. Helen lead to a miscarriage of the baby and looking for what’s going be to next in the next season.
And the last one Maddie had to face the brutal truths about Cal.
So, it’s very important that the audience knows the reasons behind all these twist by the producer. How will the three friends continue their journey?
