6 Games From 2018 To Start Getting Hyped For (Xbox One, Playstation 4, PC)

There’s a ton of games releasing every year. Sometimes the new games release codes such as these animal jam codes, to help you get access to certain things. Every now and then, gamers often go out on a hunt to find new games to try. With the last quarter of 2017 hitting a home run with it’s huge releases on the Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4, there’s definitely no shortage of excellent games making their way in 2018. From racing titles to action titles, 2018 has an excellent selection of titles to crave for.

01 | Far Cry 5 (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

Previous Far Cry titles have left been very successful for Ubisoft. With the last Far Cry title, Far Cry Primal serving gamers excellently for almost a two years now, it’s about time for players to finally get to know about the sequel Ubisoft has prepared for the fans of the franchise.

With fans being well aware of the sequel’s existence ever since Ubisoft has teased it. There’s no doubt, that Ubisoft is putting their and effort into the game due to all of the hype and support surrounding the game. With Far Cry 5, players would be able to experience the story of a character named Joseph Seed who believes that it’s up to him to take responsibility of the mafia problems in his county. The game goes through all the mafias in First Person shooter view, just as we’ve seen from previous Far Cry titles.

Far Cry 5 is set to release on the 27th of February, 2018 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

02 | The Crew 2 (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

The Crew 2 is one of Ubisoft’s key racing titles that they showed off earlier this year at E3. The Crew 2 promised to take players to new heights. With the original The Crew title being a massive hit after the release of their “The Wild Run” expansion pack, the game has garnered some hope allowing for Ubisoft to learn from these issues.

The Crew 2 is going to be set in an open-world environment that allows gamers to take on races within the sky, off-road and on the streets. Let’s hope that it’s going to be wild. Based on what Ubisoft has shown off so far, the game looks excellent.

The Crew 2 is set to launch on the 16th of March 2018 on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

03 | A Way Out (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

A Way Out is one of the key titles EA showed off at E3 2017. Being an EA Originals title, EA has collaorated with the folks over at Hazelight Studios to make this game possible.

At the showfloor, EA announced that the game should be releasing in the 1st half of 2018. Alhtough, there’s no telling exactly when the game would be released. As of now, the title is under development and features a very unqiue take on multiplayer gameplay as the game require you to have a friend alongside you to progress through the game.

“You won’t get tired of this game” Let me tell you this, after you finished playing ‘A Way Out’, I will tell you, you will play a co-op game like never before! I know! I mean, I could guarantee that. I know I sound very cocky, but I can’t help it. Its true! – Josef Fares, Writer & Director of ‘A Way Out’

He then added:

“I’m telling you, it gonna like, kick ass!

Now, while that is one bold claim, let’s keep No Man’s Sky as one of the best examples of recent times.

I personally do believe that the game would be excellent due to the fact how the game mechanics are. Rather than being just any online multiplauer game, the game forces you to sit back with your buddies and enjoy the game together. It simply reminds me of the NFS II days when split-screen was a thing.

The game is set to release within the first half of 2018 on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

04 | Anthem (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

Anthem is one of EA’s latest additions into their slew of franchises. Anthem is going to be one of the most graphically demanding titles of 2018 and is going to be released somewhere in Q4 2018.

The game features a ton of graphically intensive scenes that’s supposed to bring down a lot of high-end gaming PCs.

Built around EA’s Frostbite 3 Engine, only time would tell how good the game would look on PCs maxing out the graphics of the Frostbite 3 Engine.

Anthem is set to release in Q4 2017 and would be available on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.

05 | Ace Combat 7: Skies Unknown (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

The Ace Combat franchise has made it’s comeback after quite a while. With the latest installment being Ace Combat 7, the hype for Bandai Namco’s next AC title is rising.

Ace Combat 7 is going to be a key title for Sony. As Ace Combat 7 promises to deliver breathtaking experiences for PSVR players. Alongside the excellent graphics, Bandai Namco’s promises to include a ton of hidden easter eggs throughout the game referencing to their previous titles. And who knows, other titles too?

There’s definitely a ton of hype surrounding Ace Combat 7 and could be one of the titles to rejuvenate the enthusiasm of old and new comers.

Ace Combat 7 is set to release somewhere in 2018. As if now there’s no release date but the game would be available on all three major platforms, PC, Xbox One and on the PlayStation 4.

06 | Final Fantasy XV (PC, Xbox One, PS4)

About time for PC gamers to rejoice as Square Enix have decided to finally push their Final Fantasy series to the PC starting off with FFXV. The Final Fantasy series have always been one of the trend-setters when it comes to pushing graphics to the forefront on consoles.

With Square Enix announcing the development of FFXV for PC gamers. A ton of PC gamers are eager to get their hands on the game and finally give it a try on their gaming PCs and find out how far gaming PCs would be able to push the game further.

Only time would answer and excite PC gamers. The game is expected to ship within Q1 2018. Until then PlayStation 4 and Xbox One gamers should continue enjoying their gameplay. Exciting times ahead for PC gamers indeed.

Well that was out top 10 picks for the best games that are supposed to be released in 2018. These are just a few games that have stalled up into our enthusiasm. However, 2018 is set to be a very important year for Sony with a ton of exclusives heading there way. Such as The Last Of Us Part 2 and God Of War. Indeed 2018 is shaping up to be an excellent year. There’s no telling how many more titles are going to be shown off at E3 2018.

Keep your eyes peeled for E3 2018.
