SHOCKING One Player Beat A FREE-TO-PLAY Destiny 2 Raid Boss Solo!

The raids in Destiny 2 are effectively the game’s peak, and players swarm to accomplish them, as well as some of their individual encounters, in varied, substantially more difficult methods only to have bragging rights. Due to the fact that raids are usually tuned around six-player fireteams and involve puzzles that can engage up to six people at once, soloing an encounter or a boss fight is a particularly impressive feat.

Vendetta, a renowned Twitch Destiny 2 streamer, recently defeated the Caretaker boss of the Vow of the Disciple by himself. This entails completing all of the encounter’s varied mechanics as well as killing the enormous Darkness-wielding boss.

Anyone who has attempted to complete Destiny 2’s Witch Queen DLC raid knows that symbols and callouts from the game’s Vow of the Disciple are essential for success. This is because, in the case of the Caretaker, a group of players must navigate a maze in order to identify the symbols they need to engage with in order to allow the boss to take damage. Simultaneously, another group of players must keep the Caretaker occupied by stopping him from running up the stairs too rapidly, as this will result in an early wipe. Vendetta, on the other hand, did everything on his own.

Vendetta took just under three hours to complete the task, and it’s not something that just anyone could achieve. Vendetta’s expertise and build crafting powers are unmatched by players who are only learning how to finish the Caretaker encounter in Destiny 2. But harmonizing numerous diverse puzzle mechanics at the same time had to be the most challenging task of them.

Naturally, the Caretaker is only one of the mid-raid bosses featured in Vow of the Disciple, and it isn’t even the toughest phase of the raid. The vast majority of players should attempt to clear this raid with a full fireteam, and checking up Destiny 2 Vow of the Disciple tips and techniques from experienced Guardians is also a good idea. Simply put, this raid defies expectations in terms of Destiny 2 raids, especially with the final boss Hulk.

Though tough, Vow of the Disciple isn’t completely unfair, and practice will allow just about anyone to catch up to Vendetta’s skill level in no time. For example, in late March, a differently-abled fireteam in Destiny 2 performed the Witch Queen raid using visual signals rather than auditory communication. Bungie makes a point of constructing raids that are mechanically more lenient than they appear at first glance, however, this isn’t always the case for solo boss tries.
