Team Proved Biggest lie of $3.5m from Johnny Depp divorce settlement have not been given to charity Amber Heard admits Truth!

‘I completely plan to honor all of my pledges,’ she declared in court yesterday.

Amber Heard has revealed that she did not make the $3.5 million charity payment she promised after her divorce from Johnny Depp.

A court heard that Amber Heard only contributed half of the expected $3.5 million payment from her $7 million divorce settlement with Johnny Depp to the ACLU.

Terence Dougherty, the American Civil Liberties Union’s (ACLU) chief operating officer and general counsel, testified in the couple’s multi-million dollar defamation trial on Thursday via a pre-recorded deposition filmed in December of last year.

Heard said she couldn’t give the money to charity because Depp kept suing her in court yesterday as part of her defamation battle with ex-husband Johnny Depp.

Amber Heard has revealed that she did not donate $3.5 million from her divorce settlement to a US civil rights organization, despite claiming to have done so on multiple occasions.

Ms Heard stated several times that she had “pledged” the funds, but claimed she was unable to fulfill her duties due to Mr Depp’s litigation.

Mr Depp’s lawyer Camille Vasquez questioned the 36-year-old about the $7 million settlement, half of which she said she had already paid to the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU).

“I completely intend to honor all of my pledges,” she stated. I’d like him to quit suing me so I can focus on my work.”

Amber Heard and Johnny Depp are now on trial in Virginia for slander. Following an article she wrote for the Washington Post in 2018 in which she claimed she was a “public figure representing domestic abuse,” Depp sued his ex-wife for $50 million in defamation. Heard did not name Depp, but claimed that the piece caused him to lose acting roles. Heard then sued Depp for $100 million in retaliation.

Following their divorce in 2017, Heard appeared on a Dutch talk program and announced that she will split her $7 million divorce settlement with the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles.

Johnny Depp’sexually assaulted Amber Heard and attacked her with a vodka bottle,’ according to reports.

On the third day of Ms. Heard’s testimony, Ms. Vasquez opened cross-examination by asking why the actor has refused to make eye contact with the actress in court when she is giving testimony.

She claimed that after accusing Johnny Depp of being an abuser, he promised Ms Heard that she would “never see his eyes again.”

Ms Heard said, “He can’t look at me.”

“He can’t.”

“$7 million in total was contributed – I split it between the ACLU and the Children’s Hospital of Los Angeles,” she remarked on the show. “I had no desire.”

The American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) is a non-profit organization formed in 1920 that aims to protect Americans’ civil liberties and individual rights.

Heard has claimed she pledged the money several times since then, including under oath during Depp’s libel case against The Sun in 2020.

Terence Dougherty, the ACLU’s COO, testified earlier in the Depp and Heard trial that just $1.3 million had been donated by Heard or on her behalf.

Heard donated $350,000 immediately in December 2018, him. Depp donated $100,000, Fidelity Investments donated $350,000, and an account at Vanguard Investments donated $500,000, which Dougherty believes came from Elon Musk.

Amber’s counsel questioned her during the trial about why she accepted the $7 million divorce settlement in 2017.

Heard stated that she did not want any money from Depp, but that she would be unable to settle if she did not accept money.

“I didn’t care about the money,” she explained. We would never settle because if I didn’t agree to a number, it may be reversed. I accepted significantly less than they offered and what I was legally entitled to.

“All I wanted was my safety and my future, and he put it at risk….

I just wanted him to go away. That’s something I’ve been saying since 2016.”

“My life was in shambles. It wasn’t exactly a joyous occasion, and I don’t think that’s amusing. Period. That’s revolting.”

The court heard that the feces were from Mr. Depp’s Yorkshire terrier Boo, who had “bowel control issues” as a puppy after consuming some of the actor’s marijuana.

Long lines formed outside the Fairfax County district courthouse in Virginia, with some people waiting overnight for a chance to watch the proceedings.

Mr Depp has already testified and been cross-examined, claiming that he was the victim of domestic abuse during the relationship.

The trial is ongoing.
