Trailer of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches Reveals New Release Date, Cast, Plot

A new teaser trailer for Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches on AMC Networks has just been released, providing the series with a fresh release date.

The first two episodes of Mayfair Witches will be broadcast on January 8, 2022, and additional episodes will be released regularly after that. The programme was initially scheduled to debut on January 5. The television show will be shown on AMC and streamed on AMC+. Jack Huston, Tongayi Chirisa, Harry Hamlin, and Alexandra Daddario are the cast members of Mayfair Witches. Beth Grant, Erica Gimpel, Jen Richards, and Annabeth Gish are members of the show’s recurring cast.

The newest Mayfair Witches teaser is succinct but lovely and teases an entertaining, dramatic, horror-thriller television series in the style of American Horror Story. The image shifts to several ladies gathered together for a ceremony of sorts as the teaser opens with a distressed woman standing on the brink of what appears to be a multi-story mansion. The teaser’s background features the women doing the ceremony as additional ominous imagery flash across the screen. “In A World Full Of Secrets, She Is The Key” suddenly appeared on screen during the teaser.

Michelle Ashford and Esta Spalding are the creators of Mayfair Witches, and they also served as the episode’s director. Sarah Cornwell, Axelle Carolyn, Lindsey Villarreal, Michael Uppendahl, Michael Goldbach, Sean Reycraft, and Mary Angelica Molina are some of the other series directors. Spalding and Ashford are also the series’ writers.

The show’s executive producers are Spalding, Ashford, Uppendahl, Jeff Freilich, and Mark Johnson. Production on Mayfair Witches began in New Orleans back in May and recently finished in September.

Esta Spalding and Michelle Ashford from Masters of Sex are in charge of the show. “The realm of witches has intrigued and frightened people for generations,” said Spalding and Ashford. However, Anne Rice’s perspective on witches explored something quite new. Women who are strong, frequently violent, and devoted to overthrowing the established power systems. We can’t wait to work with our collaborators AMC and Gran Via Productions to bring this intriguing and disturbing world to life.

The planned series is based on Anne Rice’s best-selling trilogy of novels, Lives of the Mayfair Witches. The Witching Hour from 1990, Lasher from 1993, and Taltos from 1994 make up the trilogy. In addition, the late Rice is remembered for creating the well-known book series The Vampire Chronicles, which features titles like Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned. The Lives of the Mayfair Witches volumes also feature a number of The Vampire Chronicles characters. It’s interesting to note that on October 2, AMC started airing a television adaption of Interview with the Vampire.

January 8 will see the release of Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches.
