One of the most popular musicians of the 2010s was the English singer Adele, although she has been greatly impacted by her relationship. In 2019, the singer’s marriage to her ex-husband Simon Konecki came to an end, and she started dating Rich Paul. Adele said during a recent Weekends With Adele concert that she sought counseling following her traumatic divorce.
The 34-year-old singer spoke candidly about her mental health, describing how she started prioritizing it while also discussing her feelings on her musical career.
Adele Discloses Her Mental Health in an Honest Way
Adele mentioned starting therapy sessions once more during her Friday night performance as part of her Weekends with Adele engagement in Las Vegas.
Adele said to the crowd,
“You know I began treatment again? since I was without it for a while.
She continued by saying that she began seeing a therapist after divorcing Simon Konecki in 2019. 2011 saw the couple’s initial encounter. They were married in 2018 and had a kid together, Angelo, but their marriage did not work out and they divorced last year.
She continued by saying she had “stopped holding myself accountable for my own actions.” And it’s because I could always turn to my therapist and say, “The reason you did that is that when you were 10 this occurred,” she added.
She ultimately had a better perspective on her mental health, which made it easier for her to resume her treatment sessions.
Adele is the performer that is happiest onstage!
In a recent concert residency, the singer-songwriter spoke candidly about the need to bring out her best self in order to perform as well as she can for her audience. Because of this, she resumed her counseling sessions.
However, I am doing it now only to ensure that I am replenishing myself each week so that I can offer you everything.
Regarding her music, she said,
Although I enjoy creating music, something about playing in front of an audience genuinely terrifies and dreads me.
She clarified that she is not a “touring artist,” but yet said how much she wished she could replicate her previous residency in Las Vegas.
“For this reason, I do not tour extensively. I performed it the first time to show my skill. But after this experience playing in such a big area, I think I might continue to perform live for the rest of my life.
She made the decision to express the support she has been getting from her weekend concerts after realizing that she frequently feels pressurized.
