PETA was quick to condemn the reality star, calling her actions “Cruel” and “Tasteless.”This isn’t the first time that Kim has come under fire for her treatment of animals. In 2015, she was called out by PETA for wearing fur.
And just last year, she was criticized for wearing a snakeskin dress. Given Kim’s track record, it’s not surprising that PETA is once again speaking out against her. What is surprising, however, is how little remorse Kim seems to be showing in the wake of this latest controversy.
When asked about the incident by reporters, she simply shrugged it off and said that she “didn’t know” the filter was made from real rabbits. It’s clear at this point that Kim doesn’t understand how serious an issue this is to animal rights activists like PETA.
If she wants to avoid any more bad PR in the future, she needs to start showing some compassion for creatures big and small.
