They’re just stunning! Despite the fact that Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn’s courtship has been kept under wraps since it began, there are still plenty of milestones to reflect on.
Swift’s relationship with the British national was made public in May of this year. An insider tells Us Weekly that the “Cardigan” singer feels that Alywn is the one for him a year later.
According to the insider, “she wants to get engaged to him.” As far as she’s concerned, “she doesn’t have to impress anyone anymore.”
Another person told Us in early 2020 that Swift “considers Joe one of the only safe constants in her life” and that “he has always been a tremendous support and stood by her.” The couple have reportedly “talked about their future and marriage.”
When asked about her desire to keep her relationship private, the Grammy winner has frequently stated her reasons for doing so. For the first time, she talked about her wish to bring her relationship back to normalcy in a Rolling Stone interview published in November 2020.
Joe Alwyn has finally addressed the persistent rumors about his alleged engagement to Taylor Swift.
“If I had a pound for every time I believe I’ve been told I’ve been engaged, then I’d have a lot of pound coins,” the 31-year-old, who is now promoting his new television series, Conversations With Friends, told the Wall Street Journal.
When asked if he would reply “yes” or “no” if the response was either, he said, “I mean, the fact is, I wouldn’t say.”
On the one side, he said a lot, therefore we think Alwyn has a future in politics with his response. On the other hand, he did not say a word.

No more information was released at the time, raising the possibility that the sources were not as reliable as the newspaper claimed.
As a result, they aren’t the only ones who’ve claimed to be privy to this information.
When she released her latest album, Lover, in 2019, fans were convinced that Swift had married Alwyn after all of her wedding references appeared on the record.
It’s also commonly thought the duo initially met during the 2016 Met Gala owing to the lyrics of Swift’s song, Dress, which depicts a meeting of two when her hair was bleached. Funnily enough, her hair was dyed blonde for that specific event.
As it stands, we can reasonably conclude that Alwyn and Swift won’t be confirming nor denying engagement (or marriage, for that matter) speculations anytime soon. Alas, we’ll simply be over here dissecting every hint from Swift’s songs to ascertain where they’re at. All power to them.
