“Also, if there was a chance of that happening in the future, I don’t want to say anything that might jeopardize those chances because the people high up at Marvel, maybe they see this stuff or hear what I say and that influences,” Cox added. “I’m not sure. I’m not sure. I love how passionate the fans are, and I’m very touched that so many of them have gone online and made their voices heard about their desire for me to return.”
The Original News Behind Cox in No Way Home
After months of speculation, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has finally found its Daredevil. During the press tour for Spider-Man: No Way Home, Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige revealed Charlie Cox is the franchise’s Matt Murdock, should he return at some point in the MCU’s future. This is Feige’s first official comment on the casting, following a massive fan campaign calling for the actor, who played the lawyer in three seasons of a Netflix series, to return.
“If you see Daredevil in upcoming things, yes, Charlie Cox would be the actor playing Daredevil,” Feige told CinemaBlend on Sunday. “Where we see it, how we see it, and when we see it is yet to be determined.“
How did the Rumor on ‘Cox in No-Way-Home’ Start?
Fans had been watching this fan-made trailer, including Cox, with the help of video effects inside the official teaser.
The fan teaser creator seamlessly integrated Charlie Cox’s Daredevil from the Netflix series into the Marvel Cinematic Universe film Spider-Man: No Way Home, using clips from the recently released teaser trailer to make it look like he’s standing right beside the Sorcerer Supreme himself, Doctor Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch).
GeeksULTD Speculation
Daredevil could be a part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe in a variety of ways. Cox was widely expected to appear in Spider-Man: No Way Home as Peter Parker’s representative after Mysterio revealed his true identity.
With Matt Murdock (Charlie Cox) in the MCU, hopefully other characters show up, but I'm hoping for this one the most#Daredevil #CharlieCox

Daredevil could also appear in She-Hulk, which features Bruce Banner’s cousin Jennifer Walters, who also happens to be a lawyer. Since Jeremy Renner’s Disney+ show is heavily rumored to be introducing Vincent D’Onofrio’s Kingpin, the most recent project Cox may appear in is Hawkeye. However, according to Feige’s quote, Cox isn’t currently cast in any MCU project, so Daredevil may not appear in any of these films.
Daredevil has a sizable fanbase- who want to see the show’s characters return in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So what are your thoughts?
