Netflix’s unique position in the video streaming market has revolutionized the entire entertainment industry. It has helped content creators around the world to find a global audience. Not only Netflix has become the best global entrainment distribution service but has also helped to license entertainment content around the world. When it comes to watching feature films, documentaries, TV shows, anime, award-winning movies, short films, content related to sports, Netflix originals, and more, seems like Netflix got it all and has an appetite to add more to its library for the movie lovers. Its competitors namely Hulu+, Amazon prime instant videos, YouTube are doing everything to expand their market share. So far, seems like when it comes to grabbing the attention of the masses, Netflix is killing it.
Last year, Netflix released quite noteworthy documentaries for its viewers such as Searching for Sheela, Schumacher, Diana: the musical, Pele, Found, 14 peaks: nothing is impossible, and so on… A month after the limited series “Pam & Tommy ” debuted on Hulu, recently Netflix has announced another documentary, but this time on Pamela Anderson. Now, we all can’t wait to watch how this will turn out. The Hulu limited series “Pam & Tommy” tells the true story behind the release of Anderson and her then-husband Tommy Lee’s stolen sex tape, and a source close to Anderson tells Entertainment weekly that, Anderson vowed never to watch the Hulu series or even its trailer. The Hulu series was based on a 2014 Rolling Stone article and fictionalized some parts of the actual events. The Hulu series was created without the involvement or even the permission of the actress. But now, Anderson has come out to promote the documentary herself on Instagram (hand-written note), which says “Not a victim, but a survivor and alive to tell the real story”. The documentary film will feature interviews with Anderson, along with previously unreleased archival footage and journals. Netflix promises that the pop culture icon will “set the record straight” and that the movie, directed by Ryan White (The Keepers), will paint an “intimate portrait” of her.

She has achieved worldwide recognition through various charitable causes too, particularly animal rights and has endorsed PETA activities. Above all, she faced tough times too like any other person. And we cant wait to see what her Netflix documentary has to offer. We are keenly waiting to know how she has been able to turn out so strong by navigating all the chaos in her life.
