Hailey Bieber is ILL, was brought to the hospital, Justin Bieber Explained its not serious

Bieber did not provide a diagnosis, but specialists believe her symptoms are typical of a “transient ischemic attack.”

According to a post on Hailey Bieber’s Instagram page, a blood clot in her brain prompted “stroke-like symptoms,” causing the model to hurry to the hospital.

According to CNN, the model explained on her Instagram stories that she was brought to the hospital last week. (Instagram stories are only available for a limited time unless the author chooses to store them to their page.)

“On Thursday morning, I was dining with my husband at breakfast when I began suffering stroke-like symptoms and was transported to the hospital,” Bieber wrote. ““They discovered that I had a very small blood clot in my brain, which caused a tiny lack of oxygen, but my body removed it on its own and I recovered completely in a matter of hours.”

Bieber, who described the incident as one of the “scariest times I’ve ever gone through,” informed followers that she was home healing and extended appreciation to the physicians and nurses that aided her.

Clots and “mini-strokes”

Although Bieber did not provide a diagnosis, Dr. Shazam Hussain, head of the Cleveland Clinic’s Cerebrovascular Center, told People magazine that these incidents are frequently classed as transient ischemic attacks (TIA), also known as a tiny stroke.

According to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, a TIA is a brief interruption of blood flow to the brain. The occlusion is generally caused by a blood clot or plaque accumulation in the arteries and lasts less than an hour. Although the consequences of TIA are transient, they are typically a warning indication that the patient is at a considerably higher risk of having a complete stroke, therefore medical intervention is usually required to address these risks.

“It’s critical to understand your health and any potential risk factors for strokes, such as high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and problems with sweets,” Hussain told People magazine.

“… When we have younger people who have strokes, we will search for things that cause their blood to clot — it might be genetic and run in their family.”

To reduce the risk of a stroke, a healthy diet, exercise, medicines, and the detection of any underlying medical issues — such as high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythms, diabetes, or excessive cholesterol — should all be investigated. COVID-19 infection is also associated with an increased risk of blood clots.

Act Quick: Identifying the Symptoms of a Stroke

According to the Ontario Stroke Network, strokes are the largest cause of disability in Canada and the third-highest cause of death. In Canada, around 50,000 people experience a stroke each year, which equates to one every 10 minutes.

While strokes are more common in those over the age of 65, young folks are not exempt. According to statistics from the Canadian Chronic Disease Surveillance System, 960 Canadians between the ages of 20 and 24 (0.04% of all Canadians in this age bracket) and 2,790 Canadians between the ages of 25 and 29 (0.1% of all Canadians in this age bracket) suffered a stroke between 2012 and 2013.

When stroke-like symptoms appear, it is critical that the individual be evaluated by a healthcare practitioner as quickly as possible. Waiting for the symptoms to go away on their own may result in severe brain damage or death.

According to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, stroke symptoms can be identified using the mnemonic FAST.

(Recall the phrase “If you observe stroke signs, act FAST.”) F stands for face: the muscles on one side may be sagging and the individual may be unable to grin fully. A stands for arms: the individual may be unable to completely lift one or both arms. S is an abbreviation for disorganized or slurred speech. T is an abbreviation for time

If you experience stroke symptoms, the Heart and Stroke Foundation suggests dialing 911 immediately rather than driving yourself to the hospital.
