Pirates Of The Caribbean 6 Release Date Confirmed with Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow, What is the Real truth?

Johnny Depp’s recent testimony in the Amber Heard trial has put his relationship with Disney in the spotlight. In 2017, Depp was accused of domestic violence by his then-wife Amber Heard.

The accusations led to a lot of negative publicity for Depp, so Disney quietly fired him from the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.

Dead Men Tell No Tales, the most recent film in the franchise, was a box office disappointment, and many believe that Depp’s involvement was one of the main reasons why. Now, with his comments about never wanting to play Jack Sparrow again, it seems clear that there is no way Disney would ever consider rehiring him.

Who Is Writing Pirates Of The Caribbean 6?

As of June 2020, the upcoming sixth Pirates movie is being written by Craig Mazin and Ted Elliot. This duo replaced Deadpool writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick, who were hired in 2018 but left the project in 2019. Elliot is no stranger to the Pirates franchise, having penned 2003’s The Curse of the Black Pearl as well as the three sequels that followed it with his then-writing partner Terry Rossio. Given Elliot’s experience with the franchise, it’s safe to say that fans can expect another action-packed, adventure-filled installment in the Pirates series.

This is a shame because Depp is an incredible actor and was one of the main reasons why the Pirates franchise was so successful in the first place. It’s a sad ending for what was once a very lucrative partnership.

Johnny Depp is one of the world’s most beloved and famous actors. His work in the Pirates of the Caribbean series has helped to make it one of the most successful franchises of all time.

However, Depp recently found himself at the center of legal controversy when he was declared guilty of assault and battery against a crew member on the set of the latest Pirates film. Depp has spoken out about the situation, saying he feels “betrayed” by the ruling.

He had hoped to bring the franchise to a satisfying conclusion but now feels that his reputation has been tarnished. Nevertheless, Depp remains a beloved figure worldwide, and his work in the Pirates films will continue to be enjoyed by millions for years.

After the fifth Pirates of the Caribbean film, Salazar’s Revenge (also marketed as Dead Men Tell No Tales), was released, fans were excited to see what would happen next in the Disney franchise.

A sly tease of a returning villain, Davy Jones, meant things were about to get even more interesting – but Johnny Depp was quickly cut from the series. Disney axed the star due to his ongoing court case with ex-wife Amber Heard, making it unlikely he would return – until now.

After the news broke that Depp would not be returning to play Captain Jack Sparrow in the next Pirates movie, fans decided on their own hands. A group of Depp supporters decided to start a petition to demand the actor’s return.

The petition is being sent to Jerry Bruckheimer, the executive producer of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Bruckheimer and Depp are excellent pals who have collaborated on all five Pirates films.

The producer also contributed creatively to the series but recently stated that he “didn’t know” what Depp’s role in the next film would be.

According to Bruckheimer, “We’re working on a draught right now, and we’re hoping to have it soon so we can submit it to Disney and see how they like it. We have no idea. We’ve been tinkering with it for a while… We’re unsure what Johnny’s part will be in the one we’re working on right now. So, we’ll have to wait and see.”

The petition also includes a request to The Walt Disney Company to rethink their decision to remove Depp from the film series. However, work on the next Pirates picture has already begun, and it is expected to be full of “female strength.”

Margot Robbie has been cast in the sixth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. The Harley Quinn star is presently portraying an unnamed character, although her part – and the film – is being written by Christina Hodson, who previously wrote for Birds of Prey. This suggests that, like the DC Comics series, the forthcoming film in the franchise will be more of an ensemble piece.

This report also implies that a former character may make a reappearance.

In Salazar’s Revenge, Kaya Scodelario makes her Pirates series debut as Carina. Captain Barbossa’s secret daughter was finally revealed to be the enigmatic young woman. She also indicated an interest in returning to the big screen as the next female pirate to follow in her father’s footsteps in an interview at the time.

She stated, ” “There’s still a lot we can do, in my opinion. I’d want to see Carina assume command of Barbossa at sea, complete with her all-female pirate crew.”

The forthcoming Pirates of the Caribbean 6 film will feature Margot Robbie. The Harley Quinn actress is now portraying an unnamed character, but Christina Hodson, who wrote Birds of Prey, is writing her part and the film. As a result, the upcoming movie in the franchise, like the DC Comics franchise, might be more of an ensemble piece.

Pirates of the Caribbean 6 Release date

Disney has not yet announced a release date for the long-awaited Pirates of the Caribbean 6. However, based on the release dates of the prior movies in the franchise, it would likely drop in the summer months whenever it does hit theatres.

The previous five movies were all released between May and July, with the most recent movie hitting theatres in early July 2017. If Disney follows the same pattern, we can expect to see Pirates 6 sometime between May and July 2021.

Of course, this is just speculation at this point, and Disney could always surprise us with an earlier or later release date. But based on the release dates of the previous movies, summer 2021 seems like a safe bet for when we can finally see Jack Sparrow and his crew back on the big screen.

What is the role of Margot Robbie in the 6th pirates movie?

While it remains to be seen which direction the Pirates franchise will ultimately go in, it seems clear that Jerry Bruckheimer is committed to keeping the series afloat. In recent interviews, the legendary producer has gone on record stating that two different Pirates films are currently in development.

One of these projects will serve as a direct sequel to Dead Men Tell No Tales, following the further adventures of Jack Sparrow and his ragtag crew. The other film, however, will reportedly focus on Margot Robbie’s character of Carina Smyth. While plot details are scarce at this point, it’s safe to say that both films will be packed with the same kind of high-seas action and adventure that has made the Pirates series such a beloved franchise.

The Hollywood Reporter announced in June 2020 that Robbie and Hodson would be reteaming for a new, female-fronted entry in the Pirates franchise. The spinoff would feature a completely new story, unrelated to the previous films in the series. While plot details are currently scarce, it is rumored that the film will focus on a group of female pirates sailing the seven seas in search of adventure.

If successful, the franchise could potentially spawn several more sequels, further cementing the Pirates brand as one of Hollywood’s most popular and enduring franchises. With two major releases already planned for 2021, it seems that piracy is here to stay. Who knows what other treasures these scurvy dogs will unearth in the years to come? Arrr!

Will Johhny Depp come in Pirates of the Caribbean 6:

Johnny Depp is a beloved actor who has been involved with the Pirates of the Caribbean series since its beginning. Jack Sparrow’s character will always be remembered as one of the most iconic movie characters in history, but fans want him back for this new film or else it could mean curtains on any future projects!

The Disney duo will ensure that this legend is never forgotten. Production chief Sean Bailey stated in an interview, “I want ____,” confirming what many insiders already know: Jack Sparrow won’t be returning for Pirates Of Caribbean 5 – but he’ll still feature prominently through dialogue and storylines!

The Disney CEO has finally revealed that Depp’s character will no longer be a part of their plans for the film series. However, we can expect him to appear in dialogue and interact with other characters from Pirates Of The Caribbean through legend-based stories which are completely fabricated by himself as it seems like many people believe them anyway!

  1. I am so glad that Johnny Depp is going to be playing Jack Sparrow again because with out Jack Sparrow you have no story or movie because Johnny Depp is Jack Sparrow no one else can be better.

  2. I’d be extremely happy if johnny depp was going to be the main actor in pirates of the caribbean to play captain Jack Sparrow without depp you have no movie johnny depp is what made the movie franchise if depps not in the 6th movie of pirates of the caribbean I’d not be watching it I’d still Watch it to the 5th one but not the 6th if depps not in it

  3. The Jerry Bruckheimer comment is old, so no indication of a return of captain Jack Sparrow.
Johnny Depp got dumped after his ex wrote an Op Ed in Washington Post, but before any court case between them.
And finally – if Pirates 6 is about an all female pirate crew there’s no room for Jack, who is wonderful in my eyes, but still a man.

  4. Not a ‘Pirates of the Caribbean” movie without the Johnny Depp Capt. Jack Sparrow character. Simple as that. No Capt Jack, No interest. Simple as that.

  5. Hopefully they will bring him back. He has been tormented by one of the biggest liars that I have ever seen. Truth no longer has any meaning. I think they just want a cheaper actor. He brings in the money when he has a good script to work with. Jack was a thinker in idiot clothing. In the last movie he was not as smart, he was more slap stic. Make him smart again, that’s the draw.

  6. I WILL NOT WATCH PIRATES 6 W/O JOHHNY DEPP. HE IS THE ONE AND ONLY CAPTAIN JACK SPARROW. HAVE ENJOYED ALL SO FAR.. BUT THIS WOULD BE THE END W/O HIM. PLEASE FIND A ROLE FOR HIM IN THE CONTINUING SAGA. WELL DESERVED. HE EARNED IT…THANK YOU.

  7. Yeah, I agree with every comment here. Johnny Depp created this character. He may not have made the costume, but HE made the man come to life. Any other man in that costume would destroy the character. No Johnny Depp, no Disney. And same with Aquaman. If AH is in it I won’t watch it either. She ruined Johnny’s life. Shame on her.

  8. I am another consumer that will not watch at the Cinema nor buy any Pirates of The Caribbean without Johnny Depp. I have seen and I also own all previous 5 movies. I recently just had my first grandchild, and I doubt that I will purchase anything Disney again. I am sad for this statement, I have been to Disney many times in the past. I must stand behind any actor that visits children in hospitals in character to bring them joy. As far as an actors’ or actresses’ personal life, I believe that is theirs to worry about not mine. That is what the courts are for. If they are found guilty of a crime then it is up to the courts to punish them, not me.

  9. I am from New Zealand. I love pirates of the Caribbean. My family have all agreed, no johnny no seeing the next one coming out. Johnny made the lovable rogue. Amber is destroying is life, shame on her. My family enjoy watching over and over the potc . Please bring Johnny back.

  10. Why is it that Amber is still allowed to make movies but Johnny Johnny isn’t? If he’s “banned” from making movies so should she be. I love Jack Sparrow and I won’t be seeing anymore Pirates of the Caribbean movies without him in it. As for Disney ,Walt Disney must be rolling over in his grave for what these CEO is doing to this corporation. They are a bunch of kiss *****. They are ruining Walt’s legacy. They need to leave well enough alone and stop changing things to please the damn liberals

  11. I love Johnnie Depp in the Pirate of the Caribbean movies. I am of the same opinion, that No Johnnie, No Movie! Sorry, I think Disney did him wrong and that is sad. if it is an all women Pirate Movie it is not going to work for me. Don’t get me wrong one o my favorite movies was the 1939 version of “The Women” and I did like the all girl Ghostbusters! But, I won’t watch it mainly because of how Disney dumped Depp. Plus, I think it will be boring. So Disney might want to e think the all girl pirate movie. Personally, I just can’t work up any enthusiasm to even bother to watch or think about it, Sorry!
