The servant is a very famous American Psychological horror-thriller drama series. It is streaming now on Apple TV+. The show is created and is produced by Tony Bassgallop.
The story revolves around Turner’s couple, Philadelphia named Dorthy(Lauren Ambrose) and Sean(Toby Kebbell). They have a little son named Jericho and they hire a nanny named Lenne(Nell Tiger Free) to look after him.
However, after hiring her many different problems started in Turner Household. It seems like Lenne has some kind of supernatural abilities and Dorthy’s drunken brother Julian(Rupert Grint) knows about it but doesn’t say anything. Recap and Review of Episode 10:
Episode 10 starts when Dorthy wakes up after her doctor’s prescribed bed rest. Outside the room, Sean and Julian agree that Frank will not be allowed home until Dorthy gives permission.
Meanwhile, Lenne talks with Dorthy and makes a plea. She wants to end all the drama between her and Dorthy. That’s why she says ” I forgive you, I will always forgive you.”
Dorthy accepts her apology and states that she too is sorry. She accepts that she took things too far. But we as an audience see Dorthy’s smug expression that suggests that maybe she is is not feeling any remorse.
Sean senses the tension between these two and tells Julian that they need to keep an eye on both of them. Thereafter Sean confronts Dorthy about her apology. But Dorthy changes the topic quickly.
She starts claiming that during her conversation with a doctor, she felt that Sean does not rust hr anymore and he thinks Dorthy will hurt Jericho. She says that she is very hurt by Sean’s thoughts.
On the other hand, Lenne visits Aunt Josephine’s dead body and starts touching her dead hand. Suddenly it changes into dust. As an audience, you can sense how Lenne is being very creepy.
The scene shifts and Lenne is asking Julian if he also believes Dorhty’s apology was fake. He tells her honestly he too is not convinced with Dorthy’s apology.
Therefore Sean also asks Lenne if she is involved in Isabelle’s death. But Lennie avoids the topic and tells him that he has too much drink tonight. But Sean is being persistent and requests her not to hurt his wife. He thinks Dorthy will try to do something stupid.
Lennie replies that she does not understand why Dorthy does not love them. Then she tells Sean good night and walks to her room. But a framed photo falls and suggesting us that Lenne will do something.
The next morning comes and Lenne takes Dorthy to meet her friends in a park. Lenne assures Dorthy that these people are on Dorthy’s side. Though the sudden support seems weird to the viewers.
Later that day during a meal Dorhty talks with Sean about their life and says that now she believes in Sean’s faith. Then the couple shares a kiss. As the scene changes, we see uncle George and Roscoe outside.
They are creepily staring at Turner’s house. Suddenly Rosco says that he is finally able to gain her trust. And George replies in a mysterious tone that her story has begun and it will end for the Turners.
During the night, Dorthy is trying to leave the house with Jericho and a bag. Before she can get into the car Lenne comes and starts shouting. Hearing the noise Sean and Julian also come from their room.
They all try to stop Dorhty from leaving. But Dorthy is adamant. But she suddenly falls from the stairs. Lenne takes Jericho and saves him. But Dorthy hits her head on the hard floor. In the last scene, we see Dorthy is lying on the floor with several injuries.
The 10th episode suggests the potential storyline for the upcoming season. Moreover, the story ends with a cliffhanger. There are many questions among the audience. But it looks like we have to wait for season 4. Hopefully, they will give us answers.
