Are You Amazed by Watching Better Call Saul Season 6 Opening Scene and Wanna Know What Was Unique This Time? Here’s Your Answer.

Better Call Saul season 6 is already premiered on AMC. Better Call Saul is a prequel to Breaking Bad. After successful 5 seasons, Better Call Saul has returned for its last season last week. Already two episodes are premiered. The premiering episode is named “Wine and Roses”.

After watching the two episodes, viewers are amazed by the opening scene. Because, unlike the last five seasons, this season started by giving a flashforward scene. After that scene, the story picks up from the ending of season 5. As viewers we see, Nacho fleeing the scene. On the other hand, Lalo is attacked, and a failed assassination takes place on him. Therefore, the menacing Carter member is planning to take revenge against Gus Fring.

Director explains how they used a dancer troupe for the opening scene:

Better Call Saul cinematographer Marshell Adams revealed that they hired an actual dance troupe to perform in the flashforward scene.

This time the opening scene is not black and white like in the last five seasons. This time the dance troupe performed ballet-like positions during the scene. The opening scene starts with Jimmy. The camera shows Jimmy’s old house that he left behind.

The tour gives melancholy vibes to the audience. We as the audience witness Jimmy’s lavish lifestyle. As the camera shifts from one to another, we see a glimpse of Jimmy’s flashy, rainbow-colored wardrobe, lavish wall art, and general interior decor.

Therefore, as the camera spans from the corridor toward the dumpster, we see a moving van. The moving van is moving Jimmy’s belongings away. On the other hand, All the staff is clearing out his house and dispatching his things with ballet-like precision.

As per Marshell Adams, director Michelle Moris, and AD Rich Sickler had the idea to use a dance troupe for the sequence. He also said that the dancers were from the same group. They rehearsed for the entire Sunday. So they can take the shots exactly right the next day. And on Monday, the shots were taken exactly the same as the director Michelle wanted.

During an interview with Indiewire, The Cinematographer Adam revealed many things regarding the shots. He said that another group was also sharpening their skill because they need perfect technical choreography with a Photo-Sonic camera.

As per the audience, the most striking visual moment of the episode was when an ant was crawling on the hand of one person to assassinate Lolo Salamance. It was a very good technical shot. In the scene, a slow pullback reveals that the hired gun is a corpse lying in the middle of the crime scene.

However, this season is the final season of Better Call Saul. So fans are very excited about the episodes.  Now everyone is talking about the firsts scene of the first episode because the projection of emotions was extremely good. And the visual scenes were also very good.
