The series focused on that one moment in every athlete’s life that defines who they are. It was all about striving for excellence for Rashford, and each athlete has their own tale that plays a key role in their ascent to the top. The docu-shirt is directed entirely by Gotham Chopra, the man behind Russell Westbrook’s ‘Passion Play,’ which premiered to positive reviews last year. Overall, although I disagree with Bubba Wallace’s assessment of Talledega Nights as a bad film, I would strongly suggest this series to any athlete’s children (or not). It demonstrates that you don’t just stumble into stardom or greatness. Instead, it demonstrates how they overcame obstacles to become the celebrities they are today. A well-made series that can be finished in a single sitting.
