Tom Cruise’s “movie star appeal” should not be taken for granted, according to Leah Remini. The 51-year-old actress has praised her friend Claire Headley for exposing Tom’s alleged “crimes against humanity” on social media.
On Twitter, Leah, who left the Church of Scientology in 2013, wrote: “Thank you for your bravery, my friend @claireheadley. Despite Scientology’s constant attacks, you have persevered in speaking out.” And, as Claire points out in her comment below, Tom Cruise is well-versed in Scientology.
“Don’t be fooled by the movie star charm. (sic)”
Tom, 59, has spent his professional life advocating for the Church of Scientology. Claire, on the other hand, recently took to Facebook to criticize the star of “Top Gun: Maverick” and his ties to the church.
“Tom Cruise promotes a dangerous cult that devastated my family as well, the same cult that nearly cost me my marriage and my life,” she said on the social media platform. The same cult that forced me to have two abortions and from which I fled in 2005 with nothing but the clothing on my back and $200 in my pocket, and from which they chased me down across state lines to try to stop me from fleeing.
“Thank God they didn’t succeed.” So no, I’m not going to see the movie, and I’ll never support or approve of this con artist. Tom Cruise, believe me, is well aware of who he is supporting and the atrocities committed by the group. While I was there, I collaborated with him.
“Though I’m sure my post will “disappear” due to Facebook’s algorithms, I feel better stating it.” Thank you also to my understanding pals. You’re well aware of who you are. (sic) “
Thank you to my friend @claireheadley for your courage.
You have continued to speak out despite the non-stop attacks from Scientology.
And as Claire says in her post below, Tom Cruise knows exactly what goes on in Scientology.

COSTAR’S SECOND SPLIT FROM MISSION IMPOSSIBLE
According to another source, Cruise has broken up with Hayley Atwell for the second time. Last September, Cruise and Hayley, 40, who co-stars with Cruise in the new ‘Mission: Impossible’ films, split for the first time.
“Unfortunately, it hasn’t worked out for them,” a source stated. “They get along incredibly well and have great chemistry, which is why they chose to quietly restart their relationship earlier this year.”
However, what worked behind closed doors didn’t work out so well once it was made public, and the hype surrounding them as a couple erupted once more. “They’ve concluded that they’re better off as friends.”
The insider further slammed the notion that their relationship was only “for the cameras.” In May, Hayley went to the premiere of ‘Top Gun: Maverick.’ However, an insider claims that Haley was only there to “support” the Hollywood star.
A Visit to the Box Office
Despite getting mixed reviews, “Jurassic World Dominion,” the sixth installment in the franchise about dinosaurs who escape from an amusement park, dethroned “Top Gun: Maverick” at the North American box office. According to Comscore, “Top Gun: Maverick,” from Paramount Global and Skydance Media, continued to do well at the box office, making $50 million in its third weekend. The week-to-week sales drop has been less than usual, with some older fans excited to see Tom Cruise fly fighter jets for the first time since the pandemic began.
