I Tried to Prove What Science Fell in Love With Alfred Yamamoto created a Japanese romantic drama manga series. Since 2016, it has been serialized on Flex Comix’s Comic Meteor website and collected in twelve tanks volumes. From September 1 to September 22, 2018, a four-episode live-action drama adaptation aired, and a live-action feature version was released on February 1, 2019. From January to March 2020, Zero-G aired an anime television series adaptation. In April 2022, the second season premiered.

Shinya Yukimura and Ayame Himuro of Saitama University use data science to study the world’s systems. When Ayame admits to Shinya that she could be in love with him, they both agree that they need to conduct scientific studies, which will include measuring their pulse rates in various settings. Their study group’s oddball coworkers participate in the fun as well.

To promote the live-action picture, a four-episode live-action drama adaptation ran from September 1 to September 22, 2018. Masatsugu Asahi helmed the film’s direction.
On February 1, 2019, a live-action film adaptation was released. Masatsugu Asahi and Toshihiro Sato directed the film.

On January 8, 2019, an anime television series adaptation was announced. The series was created by Zero-G and directed by Tru Kitahata, with the series composition credited to Rintar Ikeda.

The texts were written by Ikeda and Michiko Yokote, while the characters were designed by Yusuke Isouchi. The soundtrack was composed by Hisakuni, Shouichiro Hirata, Kaoru Otsuka, Shohei Takahashi, Takuma Sogi, and Yoko Takahashi. It broadcast on Tokyo MX, BS11, AT-X, and UHB from January 11, 2020, until March 28, 2020. The series’ opening theme song “PARADOX” was performed by Sora Amamiya (who also voices Ayame Himuro), and the series’ ending theme song “Turing Love” was performed by Akari Nanawo with utaite Sou on guest vocals. On January 11, 2020, JST, Amazon Prime Video Japan released all 12 episodes of the series.

Crunchyroll also broadcasted the series with subtitles and provided an English dub. During a special ceremony conducted in Japan on October 17, 2020, a second season was revealed. It premiered on April 2, 2022, under the title Science Fell in Love, So I Tried to Prove It r=1-sin, with the actors and crew repeating their roles. The opening theme song “Love-Evidence” was performed by Sora Amamiya, and the ending theme song “Bibitto Love” was performed by CHiCO with HoneyWorks and Mafumafu.

Sentai Filmworks was revealed as the new owner of the home video rights on May 18, 2021. A comedy about experimental sciences with humor and Kyun with the laboratory, where individual researchers join together as a stage.

Yukimura Shinya and Himuro Ayame are two scientists who seek to see if a scientific theory can solve the problem of love. These two scientists have affections for one other as well, and they hope to be able to resolve their genuine feelings using similar theoretical truths. These scientists will take advantage of this ideal situation to try to solve the theory of their love for one other.
