The Shredder’s Revenge, a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie Everyone will like, whether they are old friends who remember the iconic 1987 animation or young children in your neighborhood who grew up watching the Nickelodeon show. Nevertheless, there is always room for improvement, and certain changes cannot be legally implemented. Instead of Vanilla Ice’s “Ninja Rap” from the second live-action Turtles movie, console users will have to settle for Raekwon and Ghostface Killah’s brand-new rap.
6 Classic Cartoon Intro
The game already features a somewhat bizarre rendition of the iconic theme tune performed by Mike Patton of Faith No More (seriously). Although it’s cool, he didn’t perform the original song in 1987. At the moment, he was too preoccupied covering for Chuck Mosley. He still can’t take the place of that cartoon jingle for a generation of fans.
The NexusMods UPRC user enters the picture at this point. You may force the game to play the original cartoon entrance and melody by dragging and dropping your GameIntro MP4 and OGV files into the Content area. Even the aspect ratio has been upgraded to 16:9 with improved audio!
5 retro music pack
The cartoon merely stirs up memories of the past. meals of Shredder’s Revenge In addition, it collects numerous allusions to Konami video games, including the NES platformer and another side-scrolling beat ’em up.
In case the ones from the game weren’t sufficient, UPRC created a full soundtrack of songs from those old-school games to take the place of the music. Some are NES remakes of Coatless Carl from The Manhattan Project. The remainder is taken directly from turtles in time and the platform game. The OGG files need just be placed in the Audio folder, and everything should be set up.
4 NES Rocksteady and Bebop
The intro music and videos are excellent. What about something visible in the game, though? How about a crimson hat and some “beautiful boots” for Leatherhead? Or force opposing monkeys to spit forth waste rather than bananas. Or, less offensively, convert Rocksteady and Bebop to their original NES versions.
With the aid of NatsuKen’s mod, his old 8-bit versions of his palette were replaced. With pink and grey, he gives them a more vintage appearance, and his Turtle Tenderizer adds electric blue and neon green to transport us back to the 1980s. More characters and objects will reportedly receive a similar makeover, according to NatsuKen. Users only need to move the XNB files to the appropriate locations for now (Boss Banners in the Boss Banners folder, and Bebop in the Bebop folder).
3 Catwoman April
There are a tonne of April mods, as expected. Some redo her to look like Black Widow or the version from 2003. Some enhance her ‘attributes,’ to put it kindly, or bring back her R.Mika-like butt attack from the previews. With the help of DustinOliver’s mod, she becomes Catwoman.
Not the DC superhero, though. During a transport mishap in “The Catwoman from Channel 6,” April inadvertently hit a cat hard. Shenanigans involving the Shredder, a collar, and numerous cat jokes made her feel better. With the help of voice snippets from Renae Jacobs, who played April in the original, DustinOliver’s hack brings that feline April to life in the game. Installing it is a little trickier, so read the link carefully.
2 Action Figure/Comic Colors
BonusJZ describes his mod as “Comic and Extra Colors for All,” although some people assert that it is more action figure-like. Nevertheless, they seem bold and colorful and are nicely crafted. The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles blend in with retro products, and since they each have a distinctive shade of green, it might be easier to tell them apart in even the most frantic online games. As if the assortment of headbands weren’t colorful enough.
What about those additional hues? They’re a less complicated affair, like Splinter in a white gi and April in a scarlet jumpsuit. However, Casey Jones’ use of team-specific color schemes may please basketball fans. similar to the orange and blue New York Knicks, the yellow and purple LA Lakers, and the black.
1 Comic style by Mirage Studios
Cartoons with gaming references are acceptable. But is there anything for the ones that are old-school? Those who can recall that the Turtles frowned more than they ate pizza and were grumpy and unpleasant. The Turtles all have the same red bandana and white eyes thanks to Lippeth’s color change hack. Additionally, he provides April with her blue jumpsuit and dark brown hair, Splinter with a red robe, Casey with a grey tank top and blue jeans, and Shredder with a red and tan costume.
But how can players distinguish between the Turtles when things become crowded if they are all red? Lipped “felt it would be fun” to change everyone’s color in that way, so creating the possibility for mayhem was part of the goal. It quickly demonstrates why Leo, Donnie, and Mikey each have their distinct shades and is true to the original Mirage Comics. Double-click the install.bat file to activate it after downloading the complete MirageRecolor package, then do the same to uninstall it if it’s too much.
