The skilled dragon warrior and his beloved giant panda are back with a “blade” and a bang! Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, a brand-new animated series, will debut on Netflix soon. It will carry on Po’s heroic story and showcase his famed kung-fu prowess. However, he now possesses the Wandering Blade as a partner. The proposed animated series will be the third of the original Kung Fu Panda film series’ nine spin-offs.
In Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, Po embarks on a new mission to save the world. The once-famous Chinese warrior must reclaim his reputation and join forces with an English knight known as the Wandering Blade, who has traveled from England to seek Po’s assistance in stopping a pair of legendary weasels.
The “weasels” are not a euphemism; they are the major antagonists of the plot. Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight, based on the characters created by Ethan Reiff and Cyrus Voris, will see Jack Black reprise his role as Po. Along with Shaunt Nigoghossian, Peter Hastings, and Frank Zhu, Black acts as an executive producer.
The new series will follow Po, the formerly renowned Chinese warrior, on a brand-new quest to save the world and restore his damaged reputation. In the newest Kung Fu Panda film, Po teams up with Wandering Blade, an English knight who needs Po’s assistance to stop two notorious weasels. Watch the series’ trailer right here.
Fans are really enthusiastic after watching the enthralling trailer for Kung Fu Panda: The Dragon Knight. The 2.5-minute short is jam-packed with action, clever one-liners, and Po’s antics, all of which contributed to Kung Fu Panda’s popularity in the first place. The new alliance between the Dragon Master and Wandering Blade appears promising, despite the fact that the original Furious Five band is nowhere to be found in the trailer.
