According to a Recent Leak, the Release Date for the New Need for Speed Game Has Been Confirmed, Unexpected Art Style.

The release date and the unexpected art direction of the new Need for Speed game were recently leaked, thanks to Criterion Games. The release of Need for Speed: Unbound by EA in December appears to be confirmed by a recent leak. It will reportedly be the first Need for Speed game developed by the British firm Criterion Games since Need for Speed: Rivals in 2013.

If any of these blunders weren’t intentional, EA may have had some difficulty keeping Need for Speed: Unbound a secret. Before promptly removing the image from the website, EA temporarily featured one for Unbound. In the meantime, Tom Henderson of Insider Gaming revealed the game’s impending reveal late last month.

The latest leak comes from the gaming outlet Gematsu, which discovered a product listing for Need for Speed: Unbound on the Japanese shopping website Neowing. The page, which was set up early, lists the game’s release date as December 2nd, 2022, on the PlayStation 5. There is no mention of an Xbox Series X/S or PC release, which appears to contradict previous disclosures. However, it appears that Neowing just does not have the other versions. Need for Speed: Unbound will be released on last-generation platforms.

The product listing also featured a few pictures of the upcoming Need for Speed: Unbound, in addition to confirming the game’s release date. The four photos are of very poor resolution, but they offer an idea of how the new game will look. Previous iterations, like 2019’s Need for Speed: Heat, tried for as much photo-realism as possible. Need for Speed: Unbound, on the other hand, takes a unique approach, merging realistic automobiles and surroundings with anime or comic-book-inspired characters and visual effects.

The product listing not only confirms the game’s release date but also provides a preview of a few upcoming screenshots. Unbound speed requirement. Despite the four photos’ extremely poor resolution, they provide a general notion of how the new game will appear.

similar to the 2019 Need for Speed: Heat episode generally seeking the highest level of image fidelity. nonetheless, Unbound Speed Requirement is distinct in that it combines actual vehicles and settings with visual effects and characters that are inspired by anime or comic books.

The released photographs received a highly mixed response on Twitter. The cel-shaded features of the new Need for Speed game seemed to impress some fans. Others were much less enthused, with several players complaining that it made the game resemble Fortnite too closely. Some others replied with caustic remarks like “this is definitely a design,” etc. Even a few people noted the contrasting answers.

No matter how gamers feel about the graphic style of Need for Speed: Unbound, it is at least helpful to have a confirmed release date. Fans can anticipate the official reveal in the interim. On October 6th at 11 AM Eastern/5 AM Pacific, the upcoming Need of Speed: Unbound teaser is set to debut on the game’s official YouTube channel. Fans will perhaps get a better glimpse of the upcoming game as a result.
