EA Sports May Not Release Cricket Video Game Every Year
EA Sports is one of the top gaming companies in sports genre. EA Sports has been making FIFA games since 1994 and it is one of their most successful game series. The upcoming FIFA 17 is also very much awaited, with its real football managers and all new story mode. Well, lets get back to the topic. As we all know, cricket is one of the most popular game after football but EA Sports isn’t going well with it. EA Sports doesn’t have enough licenses of cricket teams from around the world and there are less gaming followers of cricket than football. Because of this reason, EA Sports restricted the release of cricket game.
Don Bradman Cricket 2014:
Don Bradman Cricket 2014 had realistic features like real player statistics, great animations, 3rd umpire, real camera angles and all new rules of cricket were applied in the game. However, it also faced big problems like no real player names because of no license, irritating commentary and its complex gameplay. Only England and Australian teams had license with the EA Sports. So their player names are real. Other than these, all teams a had no real names.
Because of the licencing issues, EA Sports is having difficulties releasing a new cricket game every year. So yeah, EA Sports may not release cricket video game every year . Bad news for cricket fans!
