AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition Software Teased

Today, AMD teased a new major update to the Radeon software. Dubbed “Adrenalin”, the new software will replace the current AMD Crimson software. The AMD Crimson driver/software package brought major performance bump for all AMD cards across the board. The video also teases an AMD RX Vega GPU, which probably means that the AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition is mainly for AMD’s new GPUs based on the Vega architecture.

The new AMD “Adrenalin” driver family will release sometime in December 2017. The AMD Radeon Adrenalin Edition software will introduce features like built-in GPU overlay for performance monitoring and more overclocking capabilities.
