Following the axe of the headphone jack on the OnePlus 6T, OnePlus has finally announced their new Type-C Bullets earphones for the masses. As the name suggests, these new pair of earphones would be powered and rely on the Type-C port on the bottom of the device.
Since OnePlus has pretty much axed off the classy headphone jack, OnePlus’s new Type-C earphones are aiming to compensate for it by introducing these new earphones that feature great sound quality thanks to the 96KHz/24Bit built-in-DAC on these pair of buds.
With classy OnePlus design language, these new earphones from OnePlus ensure that these earphones feature what OnePlus represents best and that’s taking care about the finest of details. As the images illustrate, these earphones feature a stealthy black exterior along with minimalist-inspired design cues all around. These new earphones also feature a 1.15m long flat cable along with an in-line remote. Overall, the earphones weight a mere 14g and would be barely noticeable minutes after you plug them into your ears.
According to OnePlus’s website/listing, the new Type-C bullets are said to retail for $19.95 over on the official OnePlus site and would pair with the newly announced OnePlus 6T out of the box. Users who own the OnePlus 6, 5T, 5, 3T and 3 would be required to enable OTG on their phone to be able to use these earphones. And if you’re interested in these headphones and own a devices that isn’t a OnePlus, OnePlus isn’t taking any guarantees if these earbuds would work with your device or not even if your device sports a Type-C port.
