To honor Ubisoft’s 35th anniversary, the Anno 1404 History Edition is being made available. Anno 1404 is a strategy game created by Relatable Designs and Byte Blue that was distributed in 2009. One of four Anno History Collection titles, it was updated and re-released as Anno 1404 in 2020 as a part of the re-released, and re-mastered collection.
In the wake of giving away Splinter Cell Chaos Theory and Far Cry 3 for free, Ubisoft is presently giving away the History Edition of Anno 1404. To download the game for free, you’ll need to meet certain prerequisites.
How to claim Anno 1404 History Edition for free before December 14?
As of right now, Ubisoft is offering the Anno 1404 History Edition free, and it will remain that way until the end of the year in 2021. To participate in the giveaway, you must use Ubisoft Connect on your PC. The title can be irrevocably placed in the player’s collection once it has been claimed. Anno 1404 History Edition can be claimed in two unique ways.

- To register, go to https://register.ubisoft.com/anno-1404/en-US and enter your email address.
- Enter your Ubisoft account information.
- Select Ubisoft Connect | PC from the drop-down menu.
- If you don’t have the Ubisoft Connect app, you can proceed on the Ubisoft website instead.
- When a player selects one of the two options, they will receive the Anno 1404 History Edition.

- Visit https://ubisoftconnect.com/en-US/ and download and install required to connect PC application.
- Search for the Anno 1404 History Edition under the store tab.
- Select the Get it for Free option.

The game has been reworked to be better compatible with modern PCs, both in terms of hardware and software. As a result of its 64-bit architecture, this game no longer suffers from the problem of running out of RAM. Consequently, this game is now a lot more enjoyable to play.
Additionally, the game can run on several displays and has a resolution ranging up to 4K. Additionally, the multiplayer capability of the game has been upgraded and extended via Uplay. Similar to Anno 1800, there is a rapid match and desync recovery.
