Let’s Pray All the Racers Who Fell Off the Car Last Year Aren’t Running in It Again!

EA today announced that F1 2022 would be released on July 1 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

For those who pre-order the F1 22 Champions Edition, they’ll be able to start racing three days before the game’s official release date on June 28. For those who pre-order the standard edition, you’ll be able to start racing three days before the game’s official release date on July 1.

Before May 16, if you pre-order any edition of the game before that date, you’ll receive a unique Miami-themed goodie bag, which will include a custom livery set, a suit, gloves, a helmet, a cap, a t-shirt, and a wall art created by a Miami-based artist.

F1 2022 features all-new cars as well as a new handling model that is intended to simulate the intensity of real-world races, which will be witnessed during the Formula One season of 2022.

There’s also the new Miami International Autodrome circuit, where you can test your driving skills against the backdrop of Florida’s sunny skies and palm tree-dotted landscape. In addition, for the first time, the Formula One season of 2022 will have Sprint events, which were first introduced during the season of 2021.

Lee Mather, senior creative director at Codemasters, said, “We are looking forward to welcoming our gamers into the new era of Formula One.”

“In addition to the real-world adjustments, we have revised the physics to account for the new aerodynamic regulations and re-worked the tire model to make the handling more realistic and realistic. New and upgraded circuits, adaptive AI, F1 Life, and increased gameplay choices make this the best moment in history for gamers to sit in their seats and experience the life of an F1 driver.”

You’ll be able to display your supercars, clothing, and accessories that you’ve earned through races, the game’s “Podium Pass,” and the in-game store in F1 2022’s customizable hub. Other additions include the new Immersive mode, which introduces risk-reward challenges, and the new Broadcast mode, which provides “managed and genuine cinematics” to enhance the action and add to the whole experience.

When it comes to immersive gaming, EA stated today that F1 2022 will be compatible with virtual reality devices, including the Oculus Rift and the HTC Vive.
