John Krasinski and Emily Blunt On March 8, the sequel to A Quiet Place was released.
When it seems like celebrities are continually embroiled in scandals and high-profile divorces, it’s a breath of fresh air when one of them simply gushes about their relationship.
After Amy Schumer made a joke about John Krasinski’s marriage to Emily Blunt, he responded with a witty retort.
Schumer just posted on Instagram about the sequel to Krasinski’s A Quiet Place, A Quiet Place Part II.
“I loved every second of @aquietplacemovie even better than the first one which blew me away,” she wrote in the post, which has now been removed from her account, according to CNN. It’s incredible to be in a movie theater!!
“And, as I’ve long suspected, Emily and John are faking their marriage for attention.” However, I believe you should go watch it this wet weekend.”
“Thank you Amy!” Kraskinski laughed back, taking Schumer’s humour in stride.
… for completely destroying our wedding venue.”
And no one gushes quite like John Krasinski, who is married to the equally wonderful Emily Blunt from The Office.
In A Quiet Place Part II, Krasinski and Blunt reunite for the anticipated sequel to his 2018 horror film, in which the real-life pair play husband and wife Lee and Evelyn Abbott, who are fighting to keep their family alive in a post-apocalyptic world.
On the promotional tour for A Quiet Place Part II, Krasinski, who wrote and directed the picture, has been telling how he put “his marriage on the line” while filming a key sequence.
A stunt in the movie’s first act – and it’s in the trailer – required Blunt to get behind the wheel of a car that collided with multiple objects, including a bus.
The routine was rehearsed for six weeks and is now complete. Blunt, on the other hand, was absent from the rehearsals, and when she eventually sat down in the car, she had no idea what was about to happen, in order to keep the reactions as genuine as possible.
“I realized while I was describing to her all the things that are going to happen,” Krasinski said on Live with Kelly and Ryan.
“All of this is occurring to her.” “Oh my gosh, I just put my marriage on the line, I might end my marriage in this picture,” I realized.
It’s a good thing he can compensate by screaming her praises all over the world.
“Everyone was wondering how it would go working with your husband, and so were we, and we were extremely thrilled to see how that would go, and by excited, I mean afraid,” he said during a virtual live Q&A session following Australian preview screenings for A Quiet Place Part II.
“I found the best colleague of my life on the first film.” She’s not just the best actor, but she’s also someone who puts everyone at rest because she’s so well-prepared, professional, and concerned about the entire process, the entire system, that it’s almost as if she’s the movie’s producer.
“Even when she wasn’t shooting, she’d come on set and view the photos and encourage us on.”
“She is without a doubt not only the best actress I’ve ever worked with or will work with, but also the best collaborator I’ve ever had.”
A Quiet Place Part II has been in the works for a long time, with a release date set for March 2020. It had a lavish debut, and all of the marketing posters were up all over the world.
A Quiet Place Part II follows up shortly after the first film ended, with the Abbott family still attempting to survive on an Earth overtaken by alien monsters with razor-sharp hearing and razor-sharp teeth who have decimated the human population.
With its nail-biting tension and visceral effects, it’s a film that needed a cinematic experience, which is about to happen for Krasinski, Blunt, and their fans 14 months later.
