Season 4 grew six times above its initial Live+Same Day rating among adults 18-49 with a rise of +500% after 35 days of multiplatform viewing, according to ABC. It’s no surprise that the show was renewed before the final episode of the first season aired.
If we were to guess right now, the first season 5 promo would air in early September. The program will most likely premiere at the end of September or in early October, and we expect a larger campaign this time than normal. Why? Much of it is related to the impending release of The Rookie: Feds, a new Niecy Nash spin-off. Even if they air on different evenings, these two shows will almost certainly be marketed in tandem.
