As badly as Amazon Prime Video wants a Reacher Season 2, so do we. When it premiered in early 2022, the television adaptation of Lee Child’s books starring Alan Ritchson as former military police Jack Reacher was an immediate success, fitting right in with Prime Video’s other series like Bosch and Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan.
Season 1 featured Reacher as he looked into his brother’s death in a little Georgian village. Reacher eventually uncovered a plot, killed some bad guys, fell in love with a local cop, and consumed some mediocre pie.
Thankfully, Reacher’s second season was picked up faster than he could finish a plate of ribs. Both you and I have inquiries concerning Season 2. What literature will serve as its inspiration? According to the pattern of TV shows returning a year after the previous season, Season 2 is likely to premiere in the early part of 2023. Filming for Season 2 will start this fall.

Even though he’s going to become a major movie star as a part of the upcoming Fast & Furious movie, it’s apparent that Alan Ritchson will return as the big, ol’ lug since Reacher wouldn’t be Reacher without Jack Reacher. It’s unlikely that we’ll run see Oscar Finlay (Malcolm Goodwin), Roscoe Conklin (Willa Fitzgerald), or any other Margrave, Georgia, residents again because the Reacher TV series was always intended to stay true to Reacher’s nomadic habits from the books. But Frances Neagley (Maria Sten), a former teammate of Reacher’s in his military police unit, will appear in Season 2.
