After fourteen years of playing the game, a Pokemon fan meets a shiny version of Rayquaza, the mascot of Pokemon Emerald.
After fourteen years of playing Pokemon, a gamer has encountered a shiny version of Rayquaza. The legendary monster Rayquaza was first introduced in Emerald. The Pokemon game first came out in 2004 as the third game in the third generation of the Pokemon series.
The games in Pokemon’s third generation are likely to follow in the footsteps of their predecessors and successors. Ruby, Sapphire, and Emerald were popular at the time, but sales were lower than those of previous Pokemon games. However, Emeralds’ legendary Rayquaza has become a fan favorite, and the third generation was one that introduced the franchise to a lot of new fans. A long-time gamer has just seen the legendary for the first time in a shiny version.
While shiny Rayquaza variants were available in Pokemon Go, locating them in the original game was a little more challenging. In point of fact, it was so difficult and uncommon that one player thought it was impossible to find one up until this point. Reddit user mikeymanthesyrem revealed in a recent post that after 14 years of playing the Rayquaza series, they finally encountered a shiny Rayquaza while playing the original Game Boy Advance version of Emerald.
They also said that because the player had never seen shiny Pokemon in the wild before, they thought these wild encounters were fake.
In Pokemon Gold and Silver, Shiny Pokemon made its debut.. From a technical standpoint, there is no distinction between a shiny and a regular Pokemon. However, they are extremely scarce, and fans view acquiring them as a source of pride. For instance, one fan reset Pokemon Crystal more than 1400 times in order to obtain a shiny Totodile, while others have actually bred and hatched hundreds of the creatures in order to obtain a single shiny version.
As was mentioned earlier, Rayquaza, like many Pokemon of the third generation, will probably always be compared to their predecessors, but it still has fans. Fans were enthralled by the announcement that a shiny Rayquaza was now available in Pokemon Go. Fans continue to create their own artistic tributes to the legendary creature, some of which include impressive Rayquaza pixel art. These tributes are likely to continue coming in, and encounters with shiny versions are likely to continue making their way onto the internet as the third-generation players get older.
