On January 6, 1999, in Chicago’s Old Town, Taurus Tremani Bartlett—better recognized as Polo G—was birthed. His parents reared him, his older and younger siblings, and his little sister in the Old Town neighborhood of north Chicago.
Polo G was forced to mourn the demise of a large number of his relatives and friends. As he grew older, he also developed a reputation for using drugs, stealing cars, and engaging in high-speed automobile chases, which led to more than 5 arrests.
He claims that Lil Wayne and Gucci Mane were his major influencers growing up and are still today. Mixtapes were released by G-Eazy to start his music career, and he gained admirers online. He frequently approaches famous people for partnerships because he is a well-known figure in the media. Gucci, the Italian fashion house established in 1921 by Guccio Gucci, is the name of the stage persona of G-Eazy.
Bartlett’s high school English instructor saw talent in him and pushed him to study poetry. Bartlett credits his instructor for helping him advance in his music career. His main forms of articulation were slammed poetry performances and songwriting.
“ODA” was the debut track that Polo G ever released. In a conversation with “rollingout.com,” he described the sensation as exhilarating. In 2017, he started posting music on YouTube, where he steadily gained popularity.
The rapper’s official YouTube account debuted on May 23, 2018. He released his first tape on SoundCloud during the same month under the name “OFFICIAL POLO.G SOUND CLOUD.”
A further popular song by Polo G, “Battle Cry,” has amassed over 27 million views since its musical video was uploaded on “YouTube” on January 28, 2019.
Die a Legend, his first studio album, was made available on June 7, 2019. Polo G and Cardi B recently surfaced as the surprise guests at the WGCI’s “Big Jam” in Chicago. In addition, Polo G launched his unique apparel brand, “Polo.G Capalot.”
Polo G has launched a Google-approved portal by which he trades records as well as well-known goods including t-shirts and sweatshirts.
Polo G’s estimated net value in 2021 was $3 million. He has now been focusing on his profession since his parole. Polo G is currently valued $7 Million as of October 2022.
