McEwing was a reporter for The News-Sun, Chicago’s largest daily newspaper, during the late spring of 1980. There, he covered the business and industry beat. He is known for Big Momma’s House (2000), The United States of Leland (2003), and Songs of our Success as an author and screen actor.
