Apple’s range of Macbooks has to be one of their most important line of devices after the iPhones. The company is well known for manufacturing some of the best notebooks. With their current lineup aging, Apple has decided to give their Macbook lineup some major revamps thanks to Intel’s new Coffee Lake CPUs.
Today, Apple announced some major upgrades for their Macbooks, that is their 15-inch Macbook Pro as well as their 13-inch Macbook Pro. According to Apple, their 15-inch Macbook Pros are about to be blessed with either hexacore Core i7 processors or the all-new Core i9 processors that are capable of boosting at upto 4.8GHz, pack upto 32GB DDR4 RAM, upto 4TB of SSD storage, AMD’s new Radeon Pro Graphics and their new T2 Chip for enhanced security. Also, these massive waves of upgrades carry Apple’s new True Display technology from the iPhones to the Macbook Pros, giving users an excellent display experience no matter the lighting conditions.
Regarding the upgrades coming to the 13-inch Macbook Pro, you’re looking at upto a Coffee Lake Core i7 Processor and upto 2TB of SSD storage. The 13-inch Macbook Pro would utilize Intel’s Iris Plus integrated graphics rather than the more powerful Radeon Pro graphics and with come with the same Touchbar and TouchID goodness just like its elder brother.
As expected, these devices would run on MacOS High Sierra, but would be capable of upgrading to MacOS Mojave that’s slated to hit Mac devices later this year.
