As we have mentioned numerous amounts of times before. Small Game Designers have the talent and credibility to make a change in the gaming industry. Recently, Valve received a request from a small game studio based in Russia who wanted to put his game up on Steam for the world to see. The game is based around the Star Wars Battlefront theme. The game is under development by Frontwire Studios and will soon be up on Steam as Valve accepted their request.
Adding to the excitement, the game will be available on Steam for free. FrontWire Studios was astonished by Valve accepting their request by releasing this statement
After ongoing discussion between Valve Representatives and myself, Valve/Steam has agreed to ship Galaxy in Turmoil to it’s millions of users for free. While this is undoubtedly a big step and accomplishment for Frontwire Studios itself, it’s an even bigger step for you, the community
Since the Star Wars is a part of Disney’s Franchises, the Founder of FrontWire studios believes the operation to work out smoothly and have no legal issues with Steam. The game is being developed under Unreal Engine 4. However, the game hasn’t received an Official Release Date as of yet but will be available soon. (via).
