Just like the E3, Gamescom is a smaller game show event that is hosted every year in Cologne, Germany. In the event, many developers such as Blizzard, EA, and many more show off their upcoming titles. The show first debuted in 2009, and since then, it is held every year in Germany.
Recently, Sony’s Gamescom 2016 lineup got officially revealed. While the company may not host a press event, they are certainly going to make a presence at the game show. In a recent post on the German PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed the games that they’re going to showcase in Gamescom 2016.

So there you have it. These are the games that Sony is going to show off during Gamescom 2016. Sony is also going to showcase some live cinema demos of much-awaited games like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare and Mafia III.
Sony’s upcoming pure PlayStation exclusive title, Gran Turismo Sport, is also going to be shown along with other titles such as EA’s Titanfall 2 and Bungie’s Destiny Rise of Iron DLC. For the upcoming PSVR, Sony is going to showcase seventeen PSVR games. But there is one strange thing to notice here. Sony has no PlayStation Vita games to showcase in this year’s Gamescom show.
The Gamescom 2016 game show will start on August 17th, 2016 and end on August 21, 2016.
