Huawei has finally gained recognition around the world. With their Honor, Mate and P series, the Chinese is set to innovate in the mobile industry. With Huawei announcing the P9 last year, it’s finally time for Huawei to show off their Huawei P10 and P10+.
Huawei’s P9 gained a lot of attention for their partnership with Leica in adding dual sensors to the rear of their smartphones. While Leica had no hand in the hardware department, Leica did do the software for Huawei. Finally after a year of releasing dual camera on almost every phone in their lineup, Huawei should bring some new stuff to the table here.
This year, the Huawei P10 and P10+, yet again, in partnership with Leica, will sport the dual camera sensors on the back. On the rear, Hauwei continues to follow it’s tradition of using the second sensor for monochrome pictures.
However, the sensor game doesn’t end there. In addition to the dual cameras at the back, you’ve got 3D Facial Recognition, Leica’s Dual Camera 2.0 that utilizes Leica’s SUMMILUX-H f/1.8 lenses, Huawei’s new Hybrid Zoom that enhances the sharpness of zoomed in pictures while focused on a specific area.
For color options, Huawei has got green lovers their treat! The Huawei P10 and P10+ come in Greenery and Dazzling Blue, Ceramic White, Dazzling Gold – with Hyper Diamond-Cut finish – and Prestige Gold, Graphite Black, Rose Gold and Mystic Silver. So if any one of those colors caught your eye, it’s yours.
Under the hood, Huawei is utilizing it’s Kirin 960 SoC on both smartphones. The P10 comes jam packed with 64GB of internal storage and 4GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the P10+ comes in 128GB/6GB variants.
Availability isn’t too far off. The Huawei P10 and P10+ will be sold in Europe and China from March 2017. Other regions such as Asia, South Africa, Latin America and Russia will get the P10 and P10+ in April, 2017
