Nintendo had an amazing start when it launched the Nintendo Switch. The company enjoyed massive success throughout the globe including the US and Japan. 7 weeks into it’s release Nintendo is still counting in the numbers.

In fact, in the US, Nintendo managed to sell about 1M consoles within a month. Another shocker was when sales revealed that The Legend Of Zelda :Breath of the Wild has sold more copies than the console itself. Recently NPD, a research firm, confirmed that the launch of the Nintendo Switch has second biggest hardware launch since 1995.

Throughout the second week of April, sales of Nintendo’s Switch console showed some excellent sales in Japan with the Nintendo Switch. On the other hand The Legend of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild has enforced its claws onto its sale charts with the game being the second top-seller after the 3DS’s Monster Hunter XX.
